After an awful start, Johnson was able to have a pretty clean past 2 innings. At least he got them through 5. Pen can't give up runs like they did last night.

It's beyond frustrating that we have no patience in the big moments
Abreu has really hurt them tonight. Two huge spots & nothing to show for it. Have to think the chances keep coming but will they capitalize enough to keep themselves in it?
Am I the only one a bit butthurt today that they took the L last night?
I know it's a long season (162 games to be exact) but after such a strong start, I'm not used to seeing them lose.
This was a game I had them penciled in to lose since seeing the pitching matchup but had no idea it would be this bad in terms of hitting... Ah well, 10-6 still a nice start. Playing a winning team this weekend though.

Something odd is happening. The Sox are the ones padding leads late and the other team is the one falling further behind.
Every time they take a close game into the later innings I get nervous. I'm learning to trust them though & they've done a great job so far.
First game of the year where I can't actually watch it, since I'm at work... I think the frustration on these "break the game open" opportunities are intensified because of it.

Win tomorrow and send them back to the abyss from whence they came.
Judging by the forecast, I'd be shocked to see them get the game in tomorrow.
