I’ve been loving watching Ruiz put it together this year. He has a great arm and he just competes. Easy to forget pitching was new to him. I think he’s an asset going forward.

I don’t mind Hamilton right now with the rest of the offense cooking. He’s a great CF. Ideally we acquire a better solution and Engel comes back. I doubt any meaningful trades will happen early this year. No minor leagues last year and April equals no scout eyes on opposing talent. Teams will want multiple looks before dealing meaningful talent. Especially our talent, most of whom hadn’t seen much or any professional experience.

Sounds silly, but that’s a big run.

Someone here told me the mets have a happy pitching staff and we don’t.

Probably unpopular opinion right now, but I like Marshall. He has a nice arm. He’s not clicking right now, and hopefully he can get it together.
