This whole debacle is equal parts embarrassing and unnecessary. We have maybe the most exciting young team in baseball - certainly the AL - and the positive energy has been shat on. It’s unbelievable, really, how a seemingly intelligent man (JR) could be so utterly stupid.

I wonder when he gets behind the wheel with total disregard to others if he’s being sincere about it.

Carlos was great, but I hope for his sake he finds a bigger role.

I haven’t said much about any of this. I’m trying hard to look at the positive of it. But I seems like we have a lot of brand new genesis but still bought the Hyundai.

Toronto is the largest tv market in mlb, no? Third largest city population, but also almost every game is available nationwide via basic cable SportsNet.

This series upset me as much as it did because I believe we had the better team. I wasn’t happy in 2008, but wasn’t too upset because the Rays were obviously better than us. We need a SP, corner OF for sure. Someone needs to get at bats at DH, whether full time or in a rotation. If it was possible to get a new manager and retain Renteria in a lesser role I would, but since it isn’t realistic a new manager would be nice. I even thought about Stone’s idea of two managers, but really that’s just changing job titles for the bench coach.
