  1. First time I’ve been able to see Dunning pitch. Looks pretty good.
  2. Benetti doesn’t make me “cringe” This thread does, though.
  3. Anybody else streaming from mlb.tv? There’s no sound on mine for whatever reason.
  4. I would love to get a major league pitcher in the game. Rocket after rocket.
  5. This is also my guess for team record. I don’t think Robert has the year people are expecting offensively. Something like Eloy’s first 60 games. Long terms still great, however. I think Cease and ReyLo show signs of improvement, but don’t quite “break out” I think jimmy cordero is lights out. I expect tim to regress with the bat, but still be good. I have high expectations for his defense though. I think Eloy and Mazara are going to mash.
  6. Back in the day, some people worked 16 hours a day in 100 degree weather for free and got whipped if they spoke up or made a mistake. And you’re telling my these lazy coal miners, who get PAID to work, can only do 12 hours?
  7. Big frank should have won a third MVP that year.
  8. I’m as optimistic about Vaughn as the next guy, but come on. Abreu was a good hitting major league first baseman last year. Even draft year fatigue considered, Vaughn struggled in A-ball. If he can hit like Abreu as a finished product we should be happy.
  9. Pipeline has his change as a 60 pitch - better than his slider. But they seem to be an outlier there. Still odd to see one outlet say his change is a plus and another say it’s near non-existent. his slider certainly looks good. Haven’t seen his change at all though, myself.
  10. George Costanza found a way for the Yankees to get Bonds and Griffey in the same outfield, and they didn’t really have to give up that much!
  11. The sax solo from Baker Street.
  12. I was right the first time. This ban applies to gatherings and events that require city permits. It doesn’t apply to sports teams.
  13. I’m not 100%, but I believe the June 30 date means the city won’t be approving any permits for public gatherings before that date. If the virus miraculously disappears (not bloody likely) before then, I believe the Jays will be good to go. I’ll try to dig more into this but I think that’s the deal. Edit: Nevermind, I think it’s both.
  14. This one is even worse. And the first comment.... jesus
  15. If I remember right, Quintana struggled while his extension was being discussed. Maybe something similar where he’s just a little distracted. But more likely it’s typical meaningless spring training stuff.
