  1. Iriarte being terrible is an unfortunate development.
  2. Bonemer looks good early on. Encouraging development.
  3. So if he dies next year for example, then what? Wouldn’t the Ishbia’s have control in that case?
  4. Health plays a factor in everything when you are almost 90. One illness and someone could head downhill.
  5. Considering Jerry is damn near 90, I think trying to project timelines for this whole process is pretty silly.
  6. Nightengale said it’s “tabled”, whatever that means.
  7. I feel like he would be interesting. Outman doesn’t really do anything for me though. I’d already rather get another minor leaguer than him.
  8. Thought this was thread worthy here. “The Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers have tabled trade discussions that would send center fielder Luis Robert Jr. to the Dodgers for Triple-A outfielder James Outman and a front-line prospect.” per Nightengale. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/columnist/bob-nightengale/2025/04/13/mlb-free-agents-lance-lynn-vladimir-guerrero/83060198007/
  9. You worded it a lot better than how I did. I lost track of how many 5, 6, 7 pitch innings opposing pitchers had last year. At least they are working counts now and putting up better at-bats on a daily basis. But like you said, these guys just aren’t that talented to begin with. Fuller can only do so much with the guys he has been given. Can’t turn them into Ohtani and Judge.
  10. I disagree. This is a positive development. Making good swing decisions is a good thing no matter how you spin it. It’s just that the hitters making the swing decisions aren’t MLB caliber. But if this trend continues when the prospects come up, that will be very promising.
  11. I don’t think this is really a new development, but I still don’t understand what’s in it for Ishbia to wait for an indefinite period of time for the Sox when he could have just bought the Twins right now.
  12. I have to think those back issues are still a problem for Colson. I just don’t know what the solution is.
  13. White Sox were never paying him that. Win/win trade.
  14. I’d keep Canario over Taylor for sure. Might be a defensive downgrade, but Canario is way younger and more interesting.
  15. Did anyone else hear this?
  16. So then why would anyone trade for him. Lol.
  17. I honestly thought Thaiss was pretty good behind the plate today outside of that one play, which you could argue was more Clevinger’s fault anyway.
  18. I’d take Canario and Eguy Rosario.
  19. I do like the quotes he posts in his articles, but he tweets more about Michigan football and basketball than the Sox. Lol.
  20. The Drury thing makes no sense to me unless 1) his hand is completely toast or 2) this is just a procedural move and they will bring him back on a new contract. Because cutting the best hitter in the spring for what shouldn’t be a long term injury makes no sense to me otherwise.
  21. Obviously I’m hoping it’s not a big deal, but if it is Tommy John, maybe it will actually help him add velo to his fastball.
  22. I think Steven Wilson should be in the bullpen somewhere. The rest looks realistic to me.
  23. Vargas, Sosa, Drury, Vaughn from left to right. Seems straightforward to me.
  24. Has the CHSN feed been buffering every couple minutes or is it on my end?
  25. I went with a business degree at the time because I was undecided and thought that could give me more options down the line. Problem is I still don’t really have a direction. I just have to find something.
