  1. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 03:05 PM) I don't think he's being literal guys. I think he's saying it's hard to improve it when all he seems to do is homer, K or popout. Meaning he does nothing to really improve his BABIP (by just getting a base hit every once in a while as opposed to a groundout, popout, flyout). Maybe confusing wording on his part but I think understand what he's saying. This is what I was trying to hint at, thanks for clarifying. I know K's don't literally figure into BABIP, but it's going to be hard for Frazier to increase his numbers unless he starts making more consistent contact other than the occasional homer.
  2. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 07:42 AM) Frazier turned 30 in February. He's not 32 now. He's been an .800 OPS guy the last 2 seasons. His average is way down, he doesn't have nearly as many doubles as he's had in the past either. He's solid at 3B, he's going to hit 35 home runs, and his BABIP is still an absurdly low .179. His BABIP will stay that low because he either pops up, K's, or homers. Nothing in between.
  3. I'm 10-1 and 9-2 in my 2 most important leagues, so I can't complain.
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 08:09 PM) No upside. Bad knees. Great work, GarPax. Are you ever happy about anything?
  5. If Butler was traded, would you prefer Dunn/Wiggins or Russell/Ingram as two possible trade packages?
  6. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 05:06 PM) Jeff GoodmanVerified account ‏@GoodmanESPN Danny Ainge just walked into the Garden with a huge smile. He looked confident -- and should based on his track record of draft night deals. Sounds like Mr. Butler will be wearing a Celtics jersey in the near future.
  7. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 05:01 PM) GAME OVER Knew that was happening. Can't believe I just wasted five hours staying awake from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. This team just doesn't have that killer instinct to put our boot down on another team's neck and crush them. The Red Sox gave us so many chances to sweep the series and we choked the bit. Where do you live?
  8. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:35 PM) With who? Coats? I wanted Saladino. Coats should have ran for Avila IMO.
  9. So who closes now if the White Sox take the lead? Duke? Ynoa?
  10. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:15 PM) Would you rather see Duke? Against Ortiz? Definitely. Robin doesn't think ahead at all. Who's going to close the game if the Sox take the lead at some point?
  11. Bringing Robertson in right now makes literally no sense whatsoever.
  12. The past 3 games were full of false hope. This is who the White Sox are. Chokers. Pretenders.
  13. ...and that's why the White Sox will be a mediocre team forever.
  14. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 02:26 PM) What happened? Frazier, Abreu, and Anderson were all calling for it in front of the mound and they nearly collided with each other. Abreu caught it, but it could've been disastrous.
  15. Despite what the stats say, Arrieta is not the same pitcher as he was last year. Not even close.
  16. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 12:46 PM) Trade for Lamb + #22 from Hornets Trade Jimmy + Taj + #14 for Wiggins + #5. Take Dunn. Dunn/Grant Lamb/Moore Wiggins/Dunleavy Niko/Portis Lopez I'd like this, but what about McDermott and Calderon?
  17. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 02:04 PM) Shields look any different mechanics wise? At work following along. He's working a lot slower than he did in his past few starts.
  18. Trading Butler for Wiggins and a pick makes so much sense on paper if the Wolves are willing to do it. The Bulls could then take Dunn and you'd have 2 young studs to build around.
  19. QUOTE (Elgin Slim @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 11:46 AM) No Dice. They'd have to start with Mazara, Profar and Gallo and add to that. Mazara would be an absolute must with any deal from TX. Not including Mazara? *click* Odor would have to be included as well IMO.
  20. QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 10:09 PM) I was at that one game they lost last year ........ and it was with Sale on the mound. Wasn't that the game where Bogaerts nailed Sale on the leg with a line drive in the 1st inning?
