I'm just going to be upfront about this, I'm not a fan of this trade unless San Diego eats a lot of his contract.

Some more thoughts: - Eaton is slumping big time - Jackson is heating up with the bat when he's placed higher in the batting order - Avila has no pop, but works a good AB most of the time. - Putnam should be trusted a lot more in higher leverage situations than Jennings or Albers. - The offense as a whole is starting to heat up a little bit - Rodon pitched a decent game - Saladino should get a lot more playing time than Rollins

Paulo Orlando reminds me of Alex Rios.

I think the problem with Rodon is that his delivery isn't repeatable; it seems as if his follow through is slightly different after every pitch, which then leads to control issues.

How long before they blow this lead?

Honestly, I'm more surprised if the Sox are winning games at this point. My expectations are completely gone. I just want them to win Sale's starts if nothing else. They're clearly not contenders.
