    I’m not the biggest Leury fan in the world but this is misleading. He was atrocious in the first couple years of his career but has improved substantially since then.

    Castellanos + Schwarber would make no sense. That would be adding 2 guys who should be DH’s to a team that already has too many guys who should be DH’s.

    Doesn’t the CBA expire in a few days? If so, we might see a number of signings soon if guys want to go into that with a guarantee of where they will be playing next year.

    Just not sure if he is worth $24 AAV. If they are spending big on a SP I would rather have Scherzer (even though I know he would cost more from an AAV standpoint).

    Alvarado has great stuff but can’t throw strikes consistently to save his life. Maybe they view him as a guy who would benefit by working with Katz.
