  1. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This makes me so sad.
  2. Trayce in CF? Where would Eaton go? RF?
  3. Where would the Sox be in the draft rankings if they lose today?
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 03:41 PM) Not watching, what's he saying He's had an angry tone all game and is frustrated how the Sox keep stranding baserunners.
  5. Hawk is so angry and bitter today lol
  6. His number has to be retired at some point, right? He's one of the best pitchers to ever put a Sox uniform on.
  7. I never understood why people cheer for their own team to lose. I mean I understand why they do, as it will benefit the team in the long run, but it just feels wrong.
  8. LEURY GARCIA!!! I feel so happy for him. Probably the best moment of his career so far.
  9. Shuck is a REALLY good pinch hitter. He needs to be on the team next year.
  10. QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 3, 2015 -> 04:44 PM) Got free tickets to the game, hoping to get 2 of those sale stretch Armstrong dolls if anyone's looking for one. I'd be interested in one as well.
  11. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Oct 3, 2015 -> 03:49 PM) He has a 2.74 FIP. So does that mean that his ERA should be 2.74 if everything happened like it should have? I'm not that familiar on the stat. Thanks.
  12. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 3, 2015 -> 10:38 AM) You wouldn't trade Sale for Schwarber, Torres, Bryant, and Baez? I see your point but if they make a "too good to refuse" offer then I'd take it. Switch Torres with Russell and I'd consider it, but again, it would be very depressing to see him pitch for the Cubs.
  13. I would never trade Sale to the Cubs for anything because it would make me so sad to see him having all that success in their uniform. I'd trade him to any other team before the Cubs and Yankees IMO.
  14. Sale is in 4th for the AL in my opinion, behind Price, Keuchel, and Gray.
  15. Sox win and Sale gets win #13. WOOOOOOOO.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 08:40 PM) Congrats....stay away from pick up trucks and win CY next year
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 09:02 PM) Less BAPIP and more the HR ball killed him He also had a few starts where he gave up innings of 4, 5, 6 runs each. Eliminate some of those innings and his ERA will go back to normal next year. I'm not worried at all about him.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 08:51 PM) If Sox want to contend he needs to be a top pitcher. No reason he can't get his ERA back down in the 2.3-2.6 range. Agreed. The BABIP monster killed him this year, but he still didn't have a bad season by any means.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 08:27 PM) A full run is more than a little. I'd be content with a 250 K with a 3.10 ERA season for him next year.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 08:10 PM) Yep don't think it's a coincidence his best K year has led to a 3.5 era I'll take a slight decrease in K's if it can improve his ERA by a little bit next year.
  21. I've noticed that Sale is much more effective when he pitches to contact like he's been doing in the past inning or so. When he tries to strike everyone out, he tends to make mistakes with his fastball and then gives up homers.
  22. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 06:29 PM) I have a feeling Sale gets lit up by this lineup. If he does, I will legitimately cry.
