Foster should have come into the game after Crochet got hurt. Like you said, he still might have been able to throw strikes but at least there wasn’t anyone on base at that point. But it’s all water under the bridge now.

Exactly. Everyone being angry about pulling Dunning is just revisionist history. I’m probably Ricky’s biggest critic but I don’t blame him that much for yesterday. Crochet getting hurt pretty much ruined the plan. The only things I blame Renteria for is using Bummer too early and putting Foster into that bases loaded situation.

I’ll take any scenario that doesn’t result in Tommy John surgery. I just want him to be healthy for next season.

I’d rather face Fiers than Montas, even though historically the Sox have been awful against Fiers.

I have a lot more faith in McCann than Encarnacion, even though James has been struggling. EE should absolutely NOT be in the lineup today. I’d also go with Mazara over Leury, as crazy as that sounds.

Exactly. I would really like to see what Rodon could do in a clean inning. Hopefully he can pitch in one of the Cubs games.

I actually think Rodon could be a good reliever down the line. He got up to 97 MPH tonight. With his slider, that might work for an inning at a time. The problem is throwing him into the fire the way they did. Anyone that knows anything about baseball knew that was going to end terribly.

3 of these 4 games against Cleveland were winnable. Ricky blew all of them. Fire his incompetent ass.
