Exactly. To be fair, Martinez is a lot better than Dunn was when the Sox signed him, but he's going to be 32 at this time next year. Not exactly a spring chicken.

JD Martinez is a stud, but I could totally see him being one of those guys on the wrong side of 30 whose performance falls off a cliff once they sign with the White Sox. It would be so predictable.

My targets, in order: 1. Chris Sale or Gerrit Cole 2. Xander Bogaerts 3. J.D. Martinez 4. Nick Castellanos 5. Yasmani Grandal But after seeing this offseason unfold, I'd be shocked if they got any of them.

It's not going to happen, but I wouldn't mind this. Get a prospect or two along with Zimmerman, trade Abreu for another prospect, then bring Abreu back next offseason. They're going to stink this year anyway, so they might as well really stink and at least get a couple more prospects out of it.

You have no hope for Reynaldo Lopez, a guy who put up a 3.91 ERA and 3.1 WAR as a 24 year old and isn't even close to hitting his peak. Alrighty then.

Yeah Busch Stadium is nice. I've already gone there but I'd go again. I've been to pretty much every stadium in the Midwest, I try to go to a stadium a year with my dad.

I have decided that I am going to go to a few games (3-4 at the most), only because I love the Sox. That being said, I am going to give Reinsdorf as little of my money as possible. I plan on buying the cheapest tickets in the house, going on Sunday's to get the $10 parking, and spending very little on food inside the stadium. He doesn't deserve my money or anyone else's for that matter, but it is what it is.

Funny how a couple weeks ago it was said that Reinsdorf didn't think any player was worth 30 million a year and here we are knowing that Harper's AAV in this deal was only 25 million...but Jerry still didn't make a legit effort for him. The guy is a clown that needs to sell the team.

Attendance wasn't good last season, but I think it's going to be worse this year. Significantly worse. This debacle is the final straw for a lot of people.
