Gonzalez was one of the guys I never wanted. He's better than Yolmer, but not by enough to justify the price it would take to get him.

They've spent like 40 million on trash this offseason that they could've given to Machado. I'd take one Manny Machado over Colome/Herrera/Nova/Alonso/Jay/McCann/Santana anyday.

The Sox sign a washed up bum the same day as the Padres announce Machado. What a kick in the nuts for Sox fans everywhere.

This makes up for not signing Machado and then some! Let's go!

I feel bad for the poor social media intern running the White Sox Twitter account. People are pissed and they aren't holding back.

If they got Harper, all would be forgiven.

Heyman has become a complete hack this offseason. It's a shame because he used to be one of the best in the business.

I'm not even going to bother getting my hopes up about this. Being let down once was already hard enough.

I think I've made my voice plenty heard on Twitter even though Reinsdorf will never see any of it. It sucks that he doesn't care about us but I'm not going to let him ruin my love for the Sox. Just gotta make the best of a shitty hand that we were dealt.

I'm not letting them off the hook. I really don't want to give them a dime of my money for the foreseeable future until they get their shit together. But I can't wallow in pity anymore.

I'm over it. This whole situation sucks and we deserved way better but beating a dead horse doesn't accomplish anything at this point. Spring Training games start on Saturday and I've been waiting all winter for baseball to be back. Just going to try to make the best of it.

Reinsdorf is an oblivious cheapskate and Hahn is his puppet. The ineptitude in this organization from top to bottom makes me sick.

Out of curiosity, I posted a Twitter poll asking if people would go to less Sox games in 2019 than compared to previous years because they missed on Machado. Over 1,000 votes so far and 64% said no. It appears as if the common fan doesn't share the opinions of many on this forum.
