Donaldson will be pretty old by the time the Sox could sign him. He'd still be an upgrade, but signing him is a much riskier proposition than signing Machado, even though Donaldson will cost less.

I didn't realize May and Engel were so inexperienced at AAA, so I guess some at-bats there would do them well. I'd still like to see them in the Majors at some point in 2017 though. Leury is nothing but a placeholder as far as I'm concerned.

No 2nd Lefty in the pen (not that it matters). I put Rymer on the roster because he's out of options but Iw couldn't be stunned to see him gone and Asche making it with the LHB. This looks right to me. I'd much rather see May or Engel make the team over Leury but I doubt that will happen, at least initially.
