  1. I feel like that Michael Stillman guy is somehow associated with Cheesy Beef and Cishek. Does anyone know anything about him?
  2. Think about it this way: even if Cruz was garbage on the Sox, at least he wouldn’t be playing for the Twins anymore. There is literally no downside to this.
  3. I’m beginning to like the idea of Taijuan Walker, more so than Richards for sure.
  4. I like Madrigal, but if you can use him as the centerpiece to get Burnes, that’s a trade you have to make.
  5. Stiever, Sheets, lottery ticket for Musgrove ($4.45M) Sign La Stella to a 1 year deal ($6M) Sign Flowers to a 1 year deal ($4M) That’s 3 moves, but still.
  6. I didn’t even think of that, but replacing Tanaka with Kluber makes the Yankees worse so this signing isn’t all bad.
  7. It only took 20 minutes for this post to age poorly. That might be a new record.
  8. But with that offense and without Woodruff or Burnes, they wouldn’t be winning at the end of games all that often.
  9. I’d do that for sure. I don’t care about Stiever or Sheets. While losing Madrigal would hurt, a guy like La Stella is capable of providing just as much production, and the Sox could probably live without Heuer too. Burnes has the potential to be a top of the rotation arm and is controlled for a LONG time.
  10. Madrigal, Heuer, Kelley, lottery ticket for Burnes?
  11. For the sake of discussion, do we think Madrigal, Heuer, Kelley, and a lottery ticket come close to getting either Woodruff or Castillo?
  12. I feel like he’s referring to Milwaukee. There was awhile when the Sox traded a reliever to them every single year.
  13. Kluber (assuming he’s healthy) is the best option in free agency other than Bauer. He is a legit difference maker.
  14. He wasn’t accusing you of anything, Pal. No need to get defensive.
  15. Gonzales is actually better than I thought he was. He’s not my first choice by any means, but it wouldn’t be awful either (depending on what it takes to get him)
  16. No it isn’t, especially with the uncertainty of the minor league season. Crochet would arguably get more innings under his belt pitching in the MLB bullpen all season than being a starter in the minors.
