20% of White Sox attendance comes via public transportation. There is no mass transportation in the suburbs.

If the Bears and White Sox are working together to get their new stadiums built, wouldn't it be easier if both stadiums were built along side each other at the 78?
-
I'm under the impression that ownership is not going to renew the lease at the present location. If the new 78 stadium is not approved I wonder what would be the next move. Assuming they don't move out of state, what other location would have the new stadium? I'm sure that Rosemont would build a stadium for them. Other than that I don't know.

The last that I heard is that the Bears and White Sox are working together trying to get funding. Also heard that if the White Sox get their new stadium the present stadium will be converted into a soccer stadium for the Chicago Red Stars team.

Can you name every player to appear on the 2024 Chicago White Sox?

I collect White Sox memorabilia. I've been trying to buy an autographed team signed baseball of the 2024 White Sox . I've reached out to all my major contacts in the hobby and even my season ticket rep. This is a historic team and I would like to add this to my collection. I can't find one anywhere. Most teams sign autographed baseballs for their fans. Due to the constant turnover this past season maybe they didn't sign any balls this year. I know enough about this hobby to know that enough fans would want this item and they could make some serious money selling this item. -
Its a shame I was never given an interview for the GM job . I could turn this around and it wouldn't take 3-5 years. I would sign free agents Alonso, Soto and Santander this off season. That wouldn't be a bad start to turning this around.

4 teams in the AL Central fought to get into the 2024 Playoffs. The only team to draw 2 million fans was Cleveland. The Orioles had thousands of empty seats at there game last night. Evidently these fan bases weren't too excited about there teams.

He didn't say anything about the new stadium.

Nice way to end the season. Hoping for a better 2025 season.

Tribune writer Paul Sullivan said that this is the last year for Robert Jr on the White Sox. We shall see.
-
I like his positive attitude. His announcing style is similar to Jack Brickhouse.

JRs son David wanted to take over the White Sox. Problem was he died a few years ago.
-
I've read a number of times that 20% of fans attending White Sox games use public transportation.
-
Both sides will come together and the stadium will be built. JR is going to have to come up with some big money to make it happen. But it will get done.
-
I'm looking forward to the new stadium. Hopefully it will be designed right this time and become "The New Baseball Palace of the World"
-
Today is the day the White Sox have a media event at Block 78. It should be interesting.

Maybe if Eder does well the next 2 weeks he can be traded back to Miami for Burger.

Reinsdorf releases statement to say he'll speak more later

I would like to think that the 2025 White Sox season will be better than the 2024 season. -
Amazon was going to build at Block 78. The City Council was going to approve the money for the infrastructure and CTA L train. Amazon backed out of the deal. I would think the City Council would approve the money for the infrastructure and CTA L Train if the new stadium is approved.

When Daley denided the permit to Allyn, Allyn started talking to Milwaukee about moving the team there.
-
Art Allyn wanted to build a baseball stadium at Roosevelt and Clark in 1967 with his own money. Mayor Daley wouldn't give him the permit to build the stadium.
-
Tremendous victory!!!!

I'm expecting the next few years will have very low payrolls. Will the money be used towards building the new stadium in the South Loop?
-
The new White Sox stadium will happen. JR will have to pay for half of it. ($600 million) It will be a great thing for the franchise. The new White Sox stadium is a better deal for the city than the Bears stadium.
