  1. I really wonder how this is going to play out with Moncada. He looks like he couldn't hit me. They have him signed for 2 more years at big money. I can't imagine any other team wanting him and his contract.
  2. Can't help but wonder, have the White Sox misjudged both Luis Robert and Andrew Vaughn? Both of them look like they are good players but not great players.
  3. The White Sox must not think highly of Yolbert Sanchez. Harrison looks like he is finished as a MLB player. Appears to me that Sanchez doesn't fit into the White Sox plans.
  4. If I can find somebody to give me the money I would buy the team.
  5. I would have been a good GM for the team but I would have been a better owner of the franchise.
  6. Now that Sheets is gone, will the team bring up Colas or try to trade for another hitter?
  7. Maybe Harrison gets released. We shall see.
  8. I wonder who the White Sox are going to send down when Eloy gets recalled.
  9. Just curious, who do you think the White Sox would have to trade to acquire the players you want?
  10. The MIami Marlins have worse attendance problems than the Rays. MLB in Florida hasn't been very successful. And to think that JR came very close to moving the White Sox to St. Pete. The Rays have already had numerous ownerships the last 24 years.
  11. 1) Considering tonights pitching matchups, did anybody really think the White Sox would win this game? I'm hoping for better results the next 2 games. 2) They had less than 9,000 fans at the game tonight in St. Pete. I wonder how much longer they're going to stay in St. Pete. I think there lease runs out in 2027.
  12. I realize that Grandal has always taken alot of pitches but the thing I've noticed this year is that he is taking called strikes. And those strikes are right down the middle. Today in the first inning he took 2 strikes right in the middle of the plate. Is this an indication that he's through as a hitter? The team can't keep putting him out there where he stands watching strikes go by when he's hitting. I realize at this stage the team doesn't have many options behind the plate but if he keeps this up the White Sox have to find a new catcher for the 2023 season.
  13. I've read a number of times that 40% of the attendance at Wrigley Field comes from out of staters.
  14. The wife of George Lucas bought 30% of the White Sox last year. I was under the impression that she overpaid for the stock. I would like to think she wants to buy the rest of the team when it goes up for sale.
  15. Moncada is not playing again tonight. He said he's ready to play. Could he possibly be in TLRs doghouse?
  16. If Moncada isn't going to play again due to health/injury why keep him on the team? Looking at tonights lineup makes me hope that Giolito pitches well tonight.
  17. I can't imagine getting anything for Moncada and Grandal. Nobody would want them and there contracts. I wonder if Burger keeps hitting if he would be involved in some trade.
  18. Its been a disapointing year. Injuries and players like Grandal and Moncada underperforming have really hurt the team. That being said I'm always very happy when the White Sox beat the Cubs.Losing both games at home would have really been bad.
  19. Our next 3 series are against 3 good teams. Toronto, Tampa Bay, and the Dodgers. If the White Sox don't do well in those 9 games I wonder if some type of changes will occur.
  20. No. The team has had too many injuries and the team has too many holes offensively. I wouldn't be surprised if big changes were made this off season. If the White sox can't sign Giolito to a long term contract i wouldn't be surprised if he was traded. I also wouldn't be surprised if TLR didn't come back next season.
  21. Is Moncada sick? Or is TLR just sick of Moncada not hitting?
  22. Neither Moncada and Grandal are hitting there weight. I went to the game last night and noticed that the Red Sox 3rd baseman is playing in the shortstop position when these 2 come up to bat. All they would have to do to get on base would simply bunt down the 3rd baseline. Is it beneath them to do that?. They would get on base every time as long as the 3rd baseman was playing at short.
  23. You make some good points. That being said, do you think the White Sox will sign Anderson to a long term contract?
  24. Lindor signed a contract worth $341 million with the Mets. For the sake of discussion I think its fair to say that Anderson is as good as Lindor. Anderson is probably going to be looking at the same type of money as Lindor received. In Spring Training Anderson talked openly about wanting a contract extension with the White Sox. Whether or not the White Sox have approached him about an extension is unkown. The White Sox #1 prospect is a shortstop is Montgomery. His estimated arrival time coming up is 2025. Andersons contract with the White Sox runs out after the 2024 season. Also the 2022 White Sox media guide says that Andersons main residence is Litchfield Arizona. He has moved his family from the Chicagoland area. All things considered I don't think JR will resign Anderson. He will be gone after the 2024 season.
  25. Some people on this site and elsewhere have said that if this team doesn't do well this year there will be big changes in the off season. I'm beginning to wonder if this team continues to struggle if this front office makes some drastic changes to this team at the trading deadline. It might be another white flag trade. Maybe when Eloy comes back he can add some punch to this offense. Then again, when is he coming back?
