The White Sox could have traded for Luis Arraez and Jorge Lopez. It would not have cost them that much and the team would have been better off.
-
Obviously not good. I would rather add good players to the team and keep Crochet and Robert Jr.
-
I'm afraid that both Crochet and Robert Jr are going to be traded for prospects. This will leave the team without any good players. This will be like the last 3 years of the second Bill Veeck ownership (1978-1980). There was no hope in those years and i see the same thing happening here.

You add good players to the team. The White Sox could have traded for Luis Arraez and didn't. The Padres gave up next to nothing for him. I read where the Marlins are even paying part of Arraez salary. They could have had Arraez for 2 years, Would you rather have Lopez at 2nd base or Arraez? The reason why I'm not as upset as other White Sox fans are about this season is because I feel the present management doesn't care if they lose. The bullpen has been a disaster. They have blown game after game and yet management has done nothing to improve the bullpen. I think their game plan is to have one of the lowest payrolls in MLB in 2025.

I agree with you. You build around your best players.
-
Nobody is mentioning that this is the 3rd year in a row that the White Sox have the biggest payroll in the AL Central Division.
-
Every White Sox season is a good season but some seasons are better than others.
-
Former Chicago announcer Jack Brickhouse never criticised any MLB player. He always said that the players in the MLB were the greatest players in the world but some were better than others. You constantly have called the White Sox players clowns and buffoons. Obviously you think differently than Brickhouse did. Just curious, I'm under the impression you are some kind of sports announcer at some school. Do you refer to them as clowns and buffoons when they don't perform good?

Sox at Fish 7-6 3:10CDT, Crochet on the bump

I can't believe the Rays are going to build a new stadium near their present park. Is it a done deal or could they build it elsewhere? -

Corpseball is back. That being said, Miami is not drawing anybody to their games. Their attendance has beeb bad for years. The stadium looks nice and I wonder why they are not drawing better. I read they have a lease that locks them in for many years. In other words they can't get out of the lease. -
I get the feeling that the organization doesn't care if they win or lose. I can't figure what their game plan is. It seems to me they want to have the lowest payroll in MLB next season.
-
I've wondered whatever happened to Hahn after he was let go.
-
1) Sosa is starting to produce. If he continues to produce I wonder what they're going to do with him when Moncada comes back. 2) Benindenti has done nothing this season. I realize he has 3 more years on his contract but I can't see how you can keep him on the team next season. They're prpbably going to trade him to another team who has a player with a bad contract.
-
I'm still hoping that the White Sox surprise us and sign Crochet to a long term contract.
-
Looks to me like this team is going on a real good run!!!!
-
Looks like this could be a better 2nd half of the season.
-
Nice victory. Hopefully, better days ahead.
-
You would rather have Lopez at second base?
-
Trading your best players for prospects is lousy. I would have rather traded for Luis Arraez like the Padres did. I'm under the impression they didn't trade that much to acquire him. Arraez would have looked good in a White Sox uniform.
-
The team lost 100 games in 2018 and were the 6th most profitable team in MLB with the low payroll. I'm assuming this is whats going to happen in 2025.
-
White Sox fans are suffering and I get the impression that management doesn't care if the team keeps losing.
-
It seems to me that the organization is fine with the present situation.
-
Eloy was very good in 2019 and 2020. When he got hurt in a spring training game in 2021 he has never been the same.
-
The bullpen has destroyed the season. The organization has done nothing to improve the bullpen which tells me they're fine with losing.

I can't help but wonder, If Fedde and Crochet get traded who is going to pitch in the rotation the rest of the year. Things have been ugly this year and it will get worse if these 2 get traded. The team might not win 20 games the rest of the year. Is the objective to lose as many games as possible?
