  1. I just hope that Hahn does something to shake up this team. The only things he has done so far this season is bring up Rodon and Sanchez. Rodon has worked out and Sanchez isn't hitting his weight. I'm surprised that nothing else has been done. Now that the press is dumping all over Ventura, I would think he will be replaced sometime before the All Star break.
  2. Yesterdays rainout should be a new start for the team. Because of the rainout Danks will be skipped in the rotation this time. The White Sox should skip him in the rotation forever. It's time to bring up and start Johnson. This is the 3rd year in a row that Danks has been getting his rear end kicked in. I realize the White Sox don't want to eat his contract so simply put him in the bullpen.
  3. Hahn has to take some of the blame for this. I have no doubt in my mind that Ramirez, Gillespie, Sanchez, Flowers, Soto and Danks will no longer be in MLB in 2016. These players have been put into the lineup day after day with little success. It will be interesting to see the 2016 White Sox Opening Day roster. Hahn will definitely have his work cut out for him in the coming months.
  4. I've been led to believe that one of the present investors will take over the team from JR. There are supposedly 3 investors who want to take over the team if JR ever decides to sell.
  5. The Mets have just let Dillon Gee go. Any team that wants him can have him. I would rather see him in our rotation than Danks.
  6. Todays Chicago Crain Business said the White Sox expect to draw 1.9 million this 2015 season. That's a increase of 250,000 0ver 2014. If the team keeps winning I would like to think they will draw over 2 million.
  7. Trade Shark, Melky Cabrera and Danks to the Angels for Mike Trout.
  8. Assuming the White Sox are out of it by the trading deadline, they trade Shark for either a good young third baseman or young catcher. Duke might bring us a decent player also.
  9. 1) I would rather sign Shark to a long term deal. A rotation of Sale, Shark, Rodon, and Quintana solves alot of problems going into 2016. We need a 5th starter. 2) Alexi is 34 years old. You're not going to much for him. Unless they just want to get rid of his salary, it doesn't make any sense to trade him for nothing.
  10. The White Sox drew 90,000 this past weekend against the Twins. The SRO game for PK certainly helped. It was also the first weekend where the weather was decent. The White Sox were expected to draw 2 million this year. If the team keeps losing it won't do that number. So be it.
  11. The White Sox should be ashamed of themselves for selling SRO tickets for $75. I'm in a season ticket package so it doesn't affect me. But still to charge that much for SRO tickets is shameful. I think it's another PR mistake for the White Sox.
  12. If he is arb-eligible after the 2016 season, does that mean the White Sox can lose him to another team? Does anybody know?
  13. The attendance has gone down every year since 2006. But still they drew over 2 million people every year thru the 2011 season. I firmly believe that when the White Sox draw 2 million that's a tremendous amount of people. I read earlier this year in the Sun Times that the Cubs organization expected the Cubs to draw about 3 million in 2015 and the White Sox organization thought they would draw 2 million people in 2015. I would think if the White Sox keep losing they won't draw that many but they will draw more than what they did in 2014. Considering everything, that's a plus.
  14. I'LL say it again. Bad teams + bad stadium location + bad stadium upper deck= BAD ATTENDANCE. Considering everything I'm convinced that if the White Sox draw 2 million people a year, they've done well. Anything above 2 million is a bonus.
  15. Maybe the White Sox will bring back Terry Bevington.
  16. Nobody loves White Sox baseball more than myself. That being said, I think it's crazy that this game is going to be played today. I dearly hope that nobody gets hurt or killed today. These games could of easily been played at another time/in another location. I have the cable TV on now and there's still trouble in the city. MLB should postpone this entire series.
  17. I use to travel to see the White Sox play a road series every year. The Cleveland stadium was the biggest disappointment. Other than the fact that the stadium is in the downtown area, there was nothing about it that I liked. The Cell is much nicer in my opinion. The Indians play in a downtown stadium in a one team market and they don't draw. That Indians announcer has nothing to brag about.
  18. Bad teams + bad stadium location + bad upper deck= bad attendance.
  19. NOBODY is going to trade for Danks and pick up his contract. I wonder if anybody would even pick him up for nothing if the White Sox eventually release him.
  20. Danks has been lousy the entire spring. I realize that these are exhibitions but he has been just awful. If he keeps getting his ass kicked once the season opens, I'm wondering how long it will take before the White Sox make a change. If the White Sox release Danks it will be interesting to see if anybody picks him up.
  21. Hope I'm wrong but I don't see this team winning more than 82 games. The bottom of the starting rotation, Noesi and Danks is BAD. It's as bad as any bottom of a rotation in MLB. I'm still hoping Hahn adds another starting pitcher before Opening Day. Danks and Noesi have no business being in any starting rotation. Both of them will probably be out of MLB soon. I realize that its water over the damn but I wish Hahn would not of traded Addison Reed last year for Davidson. If they would of kept Reed they would not of spent all that money on Robertson. That money could of gone for another starting pitcher.
  22. Matt Lindstrom was released by the Angels today. I would welcome him back with both arms. If he's healthy I hope the White Sox sign him.
  23. He turned down a $75 million dollar contract from the Cubs. So I really don't know what he is looking for.
  24. I have no doubt that Forbes is wrong on the value of the White Sox franchise. When the day comes and the White Sox are sold, they will sell for way over $1 BILLION dollars. With the stadium deal they have and a new TV deal coming up the franchise will always be making money.
  25. I don't know what scares me more, the bottom of the White Sox starting rotation, or the bottom of the White Sox bullpen. I'm convinced that this White Sox team is going to be able to hit. Top to bottom, this lineup is going to score alot of runs. With this pitching staff, this team is going to have to score a ton of runs to make the the 2015 Playoffs.
