Damn you beat me to it! That's exactly who I thought of when I saw that too.

Hopefully he's "on to" that it is in fact a good sign for free agency and we have much more action earlier rather than something like last year's debacle. The class of FAs is better this year no doubt, but last off-season was relatively "meh" IMO. Also, apparently the Phillies are looking into SP help.

Hopefully Passan is on to something and we start seeing some movement on the FA front. There anticipation is killing me!

Justice mentions Goldy & Paxton here as possible White Sox fits. I know they've been mentioned in other threads separately, but maybe this will get some more of the creative juices flowing for some posters.

I'd have to agree. maybe it's just for a couple seasons when the team should have real talent on it, then they'll evaluate and see how well he performs with a roster full of major league quality players.

They currently have 3 1B on the roster with Santana, Hoskins, and Bour so not really sure that it's a fit.

I hope to break something more worthwhile later on this off-season, but I'll take this for now.
