I'm sure there's an Indy ball team out there that would love to have Ozzie and he can go there for all I care. I don't understand this fascination with "bringing back" Ozzie as manager. That ship sailed long ago because of his blatant douchebaggery.

They could just got out and try to sign him the following off-season if they're truly interested. Doesn't really make much sense to give up assests for what might only be a rental in what's (at the moment) not expected to be a contending season.

Sale closes out the 9th to clinch the Series for the Sawx...he deserved to showcase his stuff on the biggest stage, and luckily he did, just not for the team it should've been. Things ended poorly here for him, but still I can't help but feel good for him winning the WS. Bring on the off-season!

Every move? You know that's false and a complete exaggeration on your part, come on man. I'm all for people having and expressing their opinion of not trusting the current FO to rebuild the team that they couldn't build up to start. It's a fair position to hold tbh. But the proclamations that everything sucks because a rebulding team that we were told was going to be bad is in fact bad and has bad players on it by design is just being negative to be negative. I could've sworn I remember them being anti-rebuild once it initially began, but maybe I'm misremembering.

Sox Machine loves pushing the "sky is falling" narrative...they seemingly complain about every little thing that occurs with the Sox. I get being objective and critical because everything isn't always puppies and rainbows (and I appreciate that sentiment when discussing the team with anyone for that matter), but to me it seems that they're skeptical of every move the Sox make/don't make because it's the Sox that made it.

One issue with the list, Gerrit Cole was picked 1.1 by the Pirates in 2011. He was picked 28th in 08 by the Yankees but didn't sign and went to UCLA instead.

Yeah I was referring to trading our remaining $ for a prospect or two with either BAL or MIA since they're both in the sweepstakes.

That fact does not invalidate the original statement. I'm sure we could all go through drafts and cherry pick specific examples of one being better than the other until the cows come home, but the fact remains that picking 3rd in the draft now is more beneficial than picking 7th, thinking otherwise is silly...What you do with the pick is another story.
