Sleepy Harold replied to southsider2k5's topic in FutureSox Board
https://soxmachine.com/2025/09/white-sox-touting-early-international-gains-after-working-to-fix-broken-process Fegan dropped a nice nugget in this piece today. 2029 class so a ways away yet. -
Is “The 78” Dead? Or even more alive? Fire announce plans for SSS

Yet you come here and regurgitate the same stale talking points bi-weekly. We all get and know your stance, you just choose to ignore any evidence or explanation that doesn't align with your opinion. -

A great line from Joe Dirt that rings true, "It's not what you like, its the consumer." I think the reason tailgating is so popular is that there's literally nothing else to do in the area outside of trying to cram in Turtles or Cork. I know public transportation and trains apparently frighten you, but for probably the 100th time in this thread, plenty of people (myself included) have 0 issue utilizing them back to the burbs after games. Like most humans, Sox fans will adapt to less available parking in the future if a stadium at the 78 does eventually come to fruition. -
I would love to hear what the actual point of this is, plenty of other arms they could've promoted instead.

I believe it's Jacob, if my memory is correct, Kiley was higher on him on the preseason list.

White Sox linked to two players here NOTE: This is their Bonus Board rankings, not necessarily where they're ranked in the class

Busch stadium I also believe is that way, at least coming from Ballpark Village you the outfield concourse. Truist in Atlanta was similar walking through The Battery into the stadium. -

What he was doing down there was certainly impressive. -

That rule doesn't exist anymore. Got rid of it this season. -

He's been starting down in Charlotte and has been doing pretty well, so maybe they give him a longer leash given the rate they've been churning through arms the last week. -
They both fell out for valid reasons, just have to hope that Hagen has a Colson-esque resurgence.

Hagen falling completely out of BA's updated top 100 is major yikes

However, from talking to Paul Janish, White Sox director of player development, the organization is even more impressed with the overall makeup Carlson is displaying at just 19 years old. “He’s a very inquisitive kid,” Janish said. “He’s a very smart kid. It’s very evident that he wants to be really good. He asks very good questions. It seems from the get-go, he’s going to be a guy who is interested in the ‘why.’ He’s not just going to nod and smile all the time, which I appreciate. I think that’s a character trait in guys who are going to be successful.” Looking beyond Carlson, Jaden Fauske, Chicago’s second-round pick out of Nazareth Academy (Illinois), has shown he can connect with the barrel through his first couple of bridge league games. Janish also highlighted Fauske as a player with great makeup who has already established himself as a leader among the new draftees. However, don’t expect to see Carlson, Fauske or any other freshly-drafted White Sox high school player or pitcher make their debut this season, as Janish said the team intends to keep all those players down at the complex this year. Third-rounder Kyle Lodise impressed, as well, collecting two hits in the bridge league opener. He’s been promoted to High-A Winston-Salem to get his feet wet in pro ball.

Would you be on board with a rebrand when Ishbia takes over?
Sleepy Harold replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I always thought that it was (generally) up to the starting pitcher what jersey they would wear for that game, outside of the designated city connects, throwbacks, etc.
