  1. Slow play it or work a rotation between the 3 of them. If Yermin and Vaughn are both playing well, that should buy Eloy some extra recovery time to come back fully healthy.
  2. Yeah I think that's why (at least in the Padres case) they had the vaccination (or negative test in 72 hrs) sections that allowed up to 67% capacity to help get more people in. It would definitely start to get tricky unless they're allowed to do something like that.
  3. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/padres/story/2021-04-13/padres-dodgers-petco-park-orange-tier-seating-capacity-concessions%3f_amp=true It looks like the Padres just upped capacity this week from 20% to 33%. I imagine the Sox would like to follow a similar trajectory, but I'd guess they need to work that out with the state/city.
  4. Yeah lets rest our DH that's hitting around .500 and our rookie experimental OF with a .400 OBP for two guys that do and have done nothing besides bat left handed. Totally the same thing.
  5. The only time they seem to appear is when the beat writers were at the game or given a box score. Maybe some scouts were there and took video, but B game action is hard to come by. I wish the Sox made it more accessible.
  6. According to this article, the minimum in the minors for a player on the 40man is $46k. So I don't know exactly how that'll work, but I'd guess he may make more than the minimum, but definitely less than his ML salary.
  7. I guess that would explain why we've barely seen him all spring.
  8. Yeah I'd think he'd fill that role of Sept Callup guy that is the late inning replacement for defense and baserunning.
  9. Stop me if you've heard this before, but the White Sox aren't mentioned with any of these players.
  10. Nothing will happen until they get confirmation from the city that they'll be able to host fans. Then they'll have to figure out how to work that capacity amount around with the STHs. For spring training, a good portion of teams didn't have tickets available (at an extremely limited amount for non STHs) until a week or so prior to their first scheduled game. I imagine the market would/should be pretty thin for the most part, whenever they're made available.
  11. Yeah one would think so. Maybe a mid-season push to Winston if he's just mowing them down.
  12. He corrected in a follow up tweet that he meant Ethan, and Shelly Duncan is the analytics coordinator for the Sox now.
  13. I use a VPN at home to stream the games bc I experience lagging/buffering with the NBC app. I haven't had any issues when doing that with the MLB.TV app. It's actually my preferred method to watch the games now. I usually change that location to the Netherlands or Canada before I open the app and that does the trick.
  14. Burger was always going to make this list, it was just matter of where he landed.
  15. Conforto would be an ideal fit for the Sox lineup, but I'm not holding my breath about it.
