I dont get the babip argument against Moncada, I watched about 80% of his atbats and he murdered the ball. How many bloops and sqiubblers? I dont remember seeing many honestly.
Agreed, I am guessing its a two way street but I doubt Boras' office wouldn't want a player with Moncada's abilities. He seems to get players the most money so why not?
I am fine with 12, I don't think it would diminish the importance of the regular season. Home field advantage is still important and worth playing for. Thinking owners will just settle for the middle is better than what we have now where owners settle for the bottom.
I was very opposed to this at the start but the more I thought about it the more I started to come around on it. Teams will feel more pressure to go for it rather than tank year in and year out (detroit, pitt). Its better for the fans for those middling teams.
46 days is way too far out.
I live a couple of hours away from KC and am planning on going to 7-9 games to watch the Sox play. Last year I went to 0 games. Thats how excited I am! If anyone is going to those let me know
is WARP just WAR?
I believe Moncada beats those numbers if he continues to have the exit velo he has. That .267 average is way too low with that in mind, especially when his slugging is .481. Will be interesting to see how his season plays out.
Its obvious that the Dodgers werent going to trade Joc if they couldnt get Betts. Lets not pretend that it would have been a good idea to wait until the Dodgers made a move before looking for RF help. Come on now.
I have a friend who used to play for the White Sox in the early 2010s, he said everybody hated AJ. He also added "I hate that mother fucker". Not saying he was a cancer, but AJ wasn't the best teammate.
