And after you let that opportunity slip by....here comes the runs from the opposition. God, I hope I am wrong. -

Not sure Kuechel really "figured anything out." After years of watching the White Sox, I am going to have to go with the old "it's not you , it's me" routine. -

Don't worry, Saladino will make up for that error with his ferocious bat. -

Your first place Chicago White Sox featuring Tyler Saladino. -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 16, 2016 -> 03:20 PM) Did you guys know that the Cubs players go to bars and sing karaoke? OMG, they are just like you and me, so fun!!!! AND Joe Maddon drinks wine and keeps up on current music!! He is the coolest!!

QUOTE (Scoots @ May 15, 2016 -> 03:44 PM) This is really embarassing Yeah, very bad week. The way we lost some of these games, it is like deja vu. The guy I am really getting tired of is Zak Duke. He seems pretty worthless in all honesty. Seems like every time he comes in, he f&*#s up.
-
QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ May 15, 2016 -> 03:40 PM) He already threw him ball 4... Yep, needed him to throw one over his head.
-
QUOTE (StrykerSox @ May 15, 2016 -> 03:40 PM) But dude, he made a mildly amusing video about life in the minors and then Adam Dunn bought him dinner. The good feels clearly were worth a couple years of s***ty relief pitching. Right on, right on Keep rollin' him out there.

Walk him please...

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 15, 2016 -> 03:37 PM) Not gonna win many games when 3 of the 4 relievers you use give up runs. That's a good point. Been a tough week for those guys.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ May 15, 2016 -> 03:33 PM) I'm not a big RV fan but how about getting guys out when you're called upon? That's what I am saying...the guy he put in, absolutely horrible. They got waaaay too comfortable there and that Bozo started a rally. Honestly, you could see it coming. The Carroll experiment should have ended a while ago.
-
Great bullpen week. Thank RV and Carroll for starting the good vibes in Game 2 against the Rangers this week.
-
Left and stop watching the game for a while. Upon my return, I see that one of the usual suspects has struck again...Zak Duke...puke.
-
Gonzalez is painful to watch. I don't know if my heart can take this every fifth day. Getting guys off the scrap heap is getting pretty damn old.
-
Well, today is the first time I watched more than 1 inning of a Cubs game this season. I tell ya, that bullpen pitcher the Pirates put in after that Bozo Locke is even better. Talk about having absolutely NOTHING in his arsenal. He was throwing beach balls up there. Unbelievable difference between the two leagues. I can't wait to watch some Chicago Sports shows to hear about how badly they beat him up and how they are the greatest team to ever lace up their spikes. #rentfree

QUOTE (fathom @ May 14, 2016 -> 02:35 PM) BTW, nice to see Arrieta plunking Kang on purpose after getting hit around. He's just pure class. AND he eats plants and lean meats. All around perfect guy. I really can't wait until we play those guys. Hopefully, we can take those smug looks right off their f$ing faces. Especially, Arrieta's. The Cubs are good, but the NL is a joke. Great, they beat up on Locke today...good for them, he sucks. Then, Arrieta plunks Kang because he is getting hit around a bit. I am really looking forward to the Crosstown series'.

Not really liking that Tanaka vs. Gonzalez match-up tomorrow. This was the one to get. -

Let's do this. -
QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ May 14, 2016 -> 11:59 AM) That's not the worst of it. They started singing go cubs go. I wanted to jump off. Awwww...isn't that a cute song? I even love that cute little Eddie Vedder song. I was at an EV solo show in 2008. When he started playing that song, I went to go take a piss with the other White Sox fans.
-
QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ May 14, 2016 -> 10:58 AM) I'm on the blue line right now. The train car is packed with cub lovers. My Sox coat should stand out. Haha Ya gotta love those little jack**fs
-
Pirates and Cardinals look pretty good this year...On another note, Hammel is a Cy Young candidate in the NL.
-
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 11, 2016 -> 04:38 PM) Some very strange decision-making in both of these games by the coaching staff. And, with Latos' ERA ballooning by the start, Hahn better be on the market for at least one more serviceable veteran because you're not going to get through the rest of the season without any more problems between him, Rodon and Miguel Gonzalez. That's for sure. I feel that this need is much more important than a LH Bat at this point.
-
Get another damn starter. Rodon is a head case, Latos is coming back to earth, and Gonzalez, c'mon.
