  1. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 07:48 PM) I feel like SOMEONE is going to bomb one out of here for us to tie it. This team isn't powerless like previous years. NICE CALL MAN!!
  2. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 07:46 PM) Not out of it yet. And they did manage to get 1 back, so not like last years lay down and die mentality. Really hope you are right. I still can't believe Rollins did not score on that liner to center. Unreal...that ball seemed like it took forever to get to home plate.
  3. This game just has one of those bad "feels" to it. Just a bunch of dumb s#&t in order to lose.
  4. These guys really have to score some darn runs. You can't expect to shut every team out.
  5. Hawk depresses me, man. Darn broken record. He is also bad luck. He needs to stay home
  6. Bad, bad error. However, this team REALLY needs to score some darn runs.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 01:39 PM) I absolutely hate this line of thinking. They're already 0-4 in his starts, and in 3 of them he gave them no chance to win. He's pretty much one of the 3 worst pitchers in baseball over the last 4 seasons. We've seen too many seasons derailed over the past twenty years due to incompetent number 5 starters. Right on the money.
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 08:09 PM) He threw 3 strikes and was down 2-1 in the count. Danks doesn't have the stuff to overcome that. The ump was awful that AB. Ha Ha. EXACTLY...it gets nauseating hearing Hawk complain about the umps when Danks flat out stinks and has no ability to overcome ANYTHING. It does not matter how awful the ump was that AB. Danks stinks, Hawk should blame it on that. Hawk's whining over the years has become tiresome. It was very nice to get a break from him.
  9. It gets pretty nauseating hearing Hawk complain about the umps when Danks just flat out sucks.
  10. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 02:53 PM) lol that's a joke. Yep, it was freaking ridiculous.
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 02:53 PM) lol that's a joke. If the White Sox won the WS this year, even though 2005 was the greatest thing that I have ever experienced in my life of Sports fandom, it would be extra sweet. Especially with the current Kool-Aid and love fest associated with those adorable guys this year.
  12. I was watching SportsTalk Live with Kaplan the other day. He asked the panel what was more impressive : 1) The White Sox sweep of Texas or 2) The Cubs taking 3/4 from the Reds paired with the no-hitter. Obviously, they all agreed with the Cubs taking 3/4 from the Reds. After the Cubs beat the Brewers today, I wouldn't be surprised if they said the Cubs taking 2/2 from the Brewers was more impressive than the White Sox going INTO Toronto and kicking their collectives a$$es. I would hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. The Kool-Aid is the sweetest it has ever been. Even when playing complete garbage.
  13. Is this real life? I would still like to see a very solid RHP and LH Bat added before the trading deadline...the sooner the better. If so, what I am thinking could be a real possibility is to exciting for me to even want to say. I don't want to ruin a good thing. But, fung is winning and winning is fung!
  14. The Reds are such garbage. Now, they get to play Milwaukee for 3 and Atlanta for 3. More garbage to massacre and get in a circle jerk about. Sorry, I am just mad that I can't listen to any Chicago Sports radio for TV shows anymore. The Kool-Aid is extra sweet and starting to rot my teeth. I can't wait until we play them and kick their a$$.
  15. This team really is not going to score another run. I am unfortunately calling it now. This offense is beyond painful to watch.
  16. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 03:28 PM) I hate this offense Me too. It really sucks.
  17. Kind of expected. But, eventually not getting a big hit will hurt ya.
  18. 88 mph meat right down the middle to Frazier...fouled back. What is going on?
  19. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 02:21 PM) Ugh, really sucks not getting one there. Oh well, Lewis is garbage and don't anticipate him getting through the lineup again with this much luck. Wish I could agree. Too many players below the Mendoza Line for me to have any hope.
  20. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 12:19 AM) Tonight was legit some of the most fun I've had at the stadium in a long time. This team is good. #WE ARE GOOD
  21. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 08:18 AM) I hope the Cubs sign him long term, as it would be great to see them have another albatross contract along with Lester and Heyward. Heyward will be a terrible contract relatively soon, I believe. I always thought that guy was overrated. Definitely not in the field, but with the bat, absolutely.
  22. Get the rings ready, no doubt about it...but in all seriousness, they may not lose more than 3-5 games or so to the Reds or Milwaukee all season.
