  1. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 27, 2016 -> 09:51 PM) Boy is Abreu suddenly a lard ass bag of nada LOL
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ May 27, 2016 -> 09:42 PM) Oh yay, wasting financial resources on a team that is sinking fast and could be in 4th place by the end of next week. But...but...we are still in first place.
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ May 27, 2016 -> 09:44 PM) Between Ventura, Hahn, Cooper and Steverson....they all could leave tomorrow and the organization wouldn't suffer. Ventura is choking worse than he did at the end of 2012. You got that right. Ventura is a joke, Cooper is an overrated big-mouth, Steverson has done NOTHING to improve this team, and Hahn is just a smooth talker with an Ivy League degree (kudo to him for that, however). Additionally, I can't wait until the day this team has some new ownership. An ownership group that treats this team as the big market investment it is, and spends some money. Want people to come to the damn games?...WIN. I am getting very tired of taking the scraps of other teams, getting bargain basement FA deals, etc. It all has just gotten so damn old.
  4. I hate this team, and I hate this coach. Watching this awful baseball season after season, watching this awful coach season after season, is getting ridiculous. Trade Sale & Quintana to a damn team that can win something, they deserve it. They are wasting their talent with this crappy organization. I wouldn't trust our FO and scouting to get a proper return for them, either. That is how inept they are at anything.
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 27, 2016 -> 09:37 PM) Because idiot Hahn thought it would be brilliant to give Duke a three-year contract??? HORRIBLE signing. One good year with this stupid "arm angle" crap. He has always sucked, and still does. Pathetic.
  6. DUKE...and I am tired of hearing the "Kansas City Special" bulls**t. The White Sox just SUCK.
  7. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 27, 2016 -> 09:33 PM) Make up? Sure looks like it...and here comes Duke
  8. How many challenges can you have? They already had one and lost.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ May 27, 2016 -> 09:24 PM) Rollins is far too much up the middle here. Hit that right on the button.
  10. I thought this was old news. Coop didn't fix 'em. Also, when it ain't broke, don't fix it. Seems Coop's arrogance hurt his relationship with Shark. They f'd that one up.
  11. We met our 3-run ceiling today. Unfortunately, we gave up 4-runs. Hopefully, next game we give up less than 3-runs. Tip your cap to Kluber for rightening his ship against us. I look forward to helping Harvey next week as well.
  12. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ May 25, 2016 -> 03:34 PM) We'll see how they continue until the deadline but if they just keep getting worse and are out if it then just wipe this team clean. 4-1 this is ovah This bullpen sucks too.
  13. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ May 25, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) It's been a problem. Some fans would rather just try & see the positive side of it. I can't because I consider myself a realist. "Reality" should set in when looking at our CF, SS, C, & DH situation. That, along with a down year from Abreu this season makes our offense pretty darn bad. I believe the most pathetic is our DH situation...Avi...c'mon. This is not an offensive "slump" This will continue, just like last season.
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 25, 2016 -> 03:17 PM) Not really...it was pretty easy to predict. He was never as bad as he was last year and he was never as good as he was the year before, but I said it the moment he signed his deal, that was a good overally signing by the Giants. Got ya, and I agree it may have been easy. However, I still really believe it says something about our organization that he had the WORST season of his career with us. If he was tipping his pitches, how the hell wasn't that caught/addressed until the end of the season? Additionally, I read a lot about Cooper trying to turn him into the kind of pitcher he wanted, instead of letting Shark do his thing. I don't care if Shark stood on his head when he pitched, as long as he got guys out that is all that should have mattered.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2016 -> 03:02 PM) so Samardzija was tipping pitches last year...way to go Sox http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/instagraphs...p-some-pitches/ The Shark bounce back season was the EASIEST bounce back season to predict of all time. Just joking
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2016 -> 02:55 PM) BTW, Cubs of course miss Kershaw next week in a 4 game set vs Dodgers At least Arrieta is looking human lately. He must be missing some of his meals consisting of plants and lean meats.
  17. The funniest thing I read on this board thus far this week is when somebody wrote that the bottom of our lineup the other game of Avila, Saladino, and Jackson (in no particular order) looked like a "poop sandwich" I thought that was a very good analogy
  18. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ May 25, 2016 -> 02:10 PM) Wow Kluber is not even changing things up just pounding the strike zone and getting easy outs. The late inning smoke and mirror magic is gone and now we are left with a team that struggles to score more then three runs a game and is shut down rather easily. Yep, that 3-run hump for them is unbelievable.
  19. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ May 25, 2016 -> 01:47 PM) Twins went from a 3-0 lead to a 5-3 deficit. Must be nice to have an offense that can actually score runs on a consistent basis. We are down 2-0 here an it already feels like it is over.
  20. Yep, Sale had a rough game, but I feel for the guy. It must be very demanding for our pitchers knowing that giving up 3 runs in a game most likely means an "L" The White Sox seem to have a very hard time getting over the 3-runs per game hump. The offense is just plain bad. They had a pretty good streak, but they have come back to reality. And somehow, I have the hope they can turn it around and win this division.
