  1. Anderson has no power whatsoever hitting the ball to the left side. Not even a hard ground ball. He looks like another Sox player who is hurt and doesn't belong out there. Moncada out there barely running. Last year Robert playing with one good hand. Now Anderson looks like he's playing at 30%. It is incredible how dumb this organization is. Why don't the Sox just come and tell its fans that it doesn't care about winning?
  2. Stone is probably speaking for Reinsdorf again. Part of his job description.
  3. That's what he means, and the Sox have a grand total of three post season wins since 2005. The team won't be getting any more with the likes of Burger and Sheets around. RIght now, you can add Vaughn, too.
  4. Actually, they have had some good crowds lately although I don't know why anyone wants to bother with this team. That ninth inning was horrible but also typical for the Sox this year. Three up, three down, the ball not leaving the infield if they bother hitting it at all. I don't know why any fan would dream of the Sox getting to .500. Isn't going to happen.
  5. I hope not, as there was no other reason to pinch hit Grandal there. Eloy already had 2 RBIs and had a runner sitting on second. And yet ground ball Grandal gets sent up there. Just fire Pedro anyway.
  6. Nice ninth inning by Frazier. Gets picked off and plays a goofy right field. Light hitting Oakland gets 21 runs in the series. Remillard is a player. The rest of the team can learn from him.
  7. Fire Pedro before this train wreck leaves the west coast. I never thought I'd say this but bring in Ozzie. What do you have to lose? If not Ozzie, someone. The FO can't just sit on its hands and watch this team completely implode. Doing nothing is just giving up.
  8. Weirdest game I have ever seen. It seemed like the Sox were looking for ways to lose. The A's stink but they out-hustled the Sox. Somebody needs to be fired, and I don't care who it is. This team cannot win even a bad division. No, a horse-s%*# division.
  9. When it really comes down to it, Anderson shouldn't be in the lineup at all. He hasn't hit all season, and his head isn't in the game. His drop off is amazing. I don't know what is going on with him, but his career is in real jeopardy. Elvis can't hit, but he'd give you more than this. There should be some kind of intervention with Anderson because he is falling apart.
  10. This is what JR and the rest of the Sox doesn't understand. Many loyal and long-time fans are tuning out because this FO has no clue. There are many suggestions on this thread to improve this club. But just who is going make any changes to turn this club around? First dramatic changes need to be made in the FO and that just isn't happening. Instead, everyone is sitting on their hands doing nothing or lashing out at fans. There are so many things wrong with this roster. Even if some action is finally taken, it will take time to rebuild this club. We have to expect more losing. 2025 is just around the corner and we will have experienced 20 years without another World Series. Maybe even 20 more years after that.
  11. Injuries can't be used as an excuse for Eloy any more. I don't know what is wrong with him, but he just isn't contributing anything. As strong as he is, he should hit a few homers by accident. Big disappointment.
  12. Thomas and Allen were pure hitters, but they couldn't do some of the things that Robert can do and will do.
  13. Overall, Robert is the most talented player to ever put on a White Sox uniform.
  14. Tim's shoulder is really bothering him. He can't pull anything through the left side of the infield and has power. Yes, TA should be on the IL and Remillard should be playing. Remillard helped get the win today. He can do it again.

I refuse to even speculate about any of this because I have no faith in this organization. I'll save my energy for something else.
  16. The White Sox are not going to get hot. Not in the regular season. Not in the post season since they will not get there. I wonder what kind of plan the front office has or if they even have a clue on how to turn things around.
  17. The whole pathetic AL Central is now under .500.
  18. Grifol is off his rocker. Anderson has fallen off the face of the earth like the rest of this team. The Sox could use a new manager, but JR doesn't really value the manager as an important position. So, we are stuck with Grifol like we are stuck with Anderson.
  19. You're right; Lopez needs to go. Letting him go would be a sign that the FO realizes that this season is over. Cutting ties with Lopez isn't a dramatic move, but at least the team would send a message to the fans that it is no longer in denial. It's no use waiting for these so-called young players to turn it around. I was hoping when they pulled Anderson in the second game that he had been traded, No such luck.
  20. Seattle was completely un-impressive, yet the Sox were lucky they didn't get swept. It's gets to the point where you dread watching them. This team just doesn't have any life.
  21. It's been a miserable season. It's good to have a story like this. Best win of the season.
  22. Six scoreless innings giving up no hits.
  23. The board members are all men in their 80's and 90's and haven't been active for years. In a Tribune article way back in 2013, it was stated the attitude was to let Jerry handle everything. If any of these guys cared at all, they still don't have the power to challenge Jerry. For some time now, I feared that, as JR aged, he would get stuck in his ways, and again, there would be no one in the power to structure to question him. And if they are making money, why should they care? Fans are left with a team that has no real leadership. Change is not in the cards. The team seems to be stuck in neutral.
  24. If you exclude the 10-game losing streak, the Sox are 111-111 since the beginning of the 2022 season. Perhaps .500 is okay as far as JR is concerned. But we fans can't really expect any kind of real contention. Action needs to be taken but it won't. And I don't even know if firing Hahn would do any real good.
