Despite all the strikeouts, the offense showed some life today. And there was some good defense out there. But Keuchel was still Keuchel and Grandal doesn't look like he can hit a thing.

I think the organization and we fans need to get past Ozzie. If any changes are made in the organization, I think the FO should reach outside to make any significant hires. Ozzie should get managing opportunities elsewhere, if they should arise.

Best all -around game the team played all year. Only drawback was Tony's hit and run call that Gordon Beckham didn't want to discuss.

LaRussa, if he hasn't, should talk to Anderson about his public squabble with Guillen about playing a second game in a doubleheader. Neither the team nor Anderson need a distraction like this right now. It is nothing but a losing proposition. Then again, LaRussa may feel Guillen biting at his heels.

This is exactly right. I don't care what the slumping 2021 Braves did last year. Making comparisons to other teams is nothing but useless and la-la land type of thinking. This team needs to start hitting, but we don't have any idea if or when that will happen. LaRussa needs to go, but that we do know that won't happen.

I think that many fans expected or at least hoped for a mega signing of some kind after the rebuild started taking shape. That didn't happen and it won't happen. Hahn has done a good job in some ways, but the deal is not being completed.

The Sox will not relocate with a change in ownership. JR got his stadium, that is why he stayed.

The Sox will improve as injured players return, but the last Yankees game was a bad loss. Two-out walks led to all the Yankee runs. And the team has shown some bad base running and a weak defense. Those factors will remain and has to concern fans even with the bad division. Something is lacking with this team and that is why it has a record slightly below .500. Making comparisons to other teams and other years does not impress me. We have to live in the present.

And today the Yankees showed clearly that they are the better team. That home run in the ninth says it all. They needed something, got it, and put the game away. The Sox offense looked like it has all season.

I know he gets off to slow starts, but those were four weak at-bats today. And the weather hasn't been the issue lately.
