Just checked in on the score and yikes. Note to self....Thorpe had a very rough 2nd start and bounced back nicely yesterday, do not panic about Cannon.

The offense and bullpen helps us to just a 6-9 record in that stretch. But to be honest, I didn't realize their record was that good in the last 15. I thought we won like 2 or 3 games in that stretch, maybe 4.

I guess that is why you should not put too much emphasis on someone's 2nd major league start ever. Drew was great in his 1st outing and great today. Young pitching is something to be excited about for our Sox.

I agree, he was a terrific actor. The headline I saw said "Hunger Games" actor Donald Sutherland has died. Can you believe summarizing his long and varied acting career that way? Very odd.

I read somewhere someone saying that the Cubbies were in the running for the worst bullpen in Chicago. Granted I do not follow the Cubs unless they are playing our Sox, but I really find that hard to believe. This Sox bullpen is truly atrocious.

Remember that play, the 1st season he was here I think, when Grandal let a ball go through his legs that was thrown home because he wasn't paying attention to where the ball was? I think it helped to lose the game if I am remembering correctly. Good times.
