I could not sleep and was thinking about making a lineup of Sox players who were not really stars but I just liked to see them play. So I thought of each position and these are the guys that popped into my head. By the way, I know this is a pretty bad defensive club, especially in the outfield. The bottom third of our lineup is all hitting like .208. At least Engel plays excellent defense. I don't really have a problem bringing him up.

I remember I was driving back to Chicago from Milwaukee listening to WBBM news and in sports they said "The White Sox have traded Esteban Loaiza to the Yankees" but that is all they said. I called back to the radio, "for who?" Then I fantasized that they picked up that pitcher my Dad and I had seen pitch for the Yankees at Sox park one game, Jose Contreras. And then boom.
