  1. Yes... nice....he was fun to root!!
  2. Memory lane on so many of these. Great fun.
  3. Tremendous lists thanks
  4. I did like him as a player and the Sox obviously love him.
  5. Those are all great. If I can add a coach, I would suggest Man Soo Lee, the Babe Ruth of Korea and a great guy with the fans.
  6. Great names. I don't remember Bradford. I do remember my sisters loved Bucky Dent.
  7. You know what, Lyons was the last one I put on. Your suggestions are very good. I was also actually thinking of Ralph Garr but I think the road runner has his detractors. I would change it but that would be cheating and then your post wouldn't make sense. ?
  8. Haha I was going to add pitchers and the 3 I thought of were Wunsch, Donn Pall, and Floyd Banister...and The Milkman always delivers (sorry just had to do that)
  9. He was great. I would have put him at 3rd but I thought of The Milkman first.
  10. I could not sleep and was thinking about making a lineup of Sox players who were not really stars but I just liked to see them play. So I thought of each position and these are the guys that popped into my head. By the way, I know this is a pretty bad defensive club, especially in the outfield. I call it my "I don't know, I liked them lineup" and I'd love to hear others: 1b Mike Squires 2b Tim Hulett SS Craig Grebek 3b Herbert Perry C Brian Downing LF Ivan Calderon CF Steve Lyons RF Dan Pasqua
  11. Well to be fair, you can't judge him by what he did earlier. Since he came back up, he's hitting....never mind that's .000.
  12. I blame Eloy...Herrera would not have pitched without that homer ?
  13. No reason not to. Get Mendick up here. C'mon Rick get your DFA pen out again.
  14. Reading up on Detwiler, I just gotta root for a guy who went to the Independent League twice and finds himself starting a major league game again. It makes me wonder why Despaigne got the call up first. Was Detwiler just bad in Charlotte?
  15. I see it now. I closed my right eye and blinked my left really fast and now see Rodon. Thanks.
  16. What do the White Sox see in Jose Rondon that I do not?
  17. His defense and how he works with the pitchers shouldn't slump though.
  18. Darn, there goes my excuse why I won't get a Tribune subscription when to they telemarket me. I better let it go to voicemail. ?
  19. The bottom third of our lineup is all hitting like .208. At least Engel plays excellent defense. I don't really have a problem bringing him up.
  20. I don't have any problem with this but I can't think of one trade with KC that didn't end up horribly for the Sox. But I could be remembering wrong?
  21. And you don't think it's a stupid trade idea to trade for Trout and flip him? I am trying to play along here.
  22. You bet I make that trade...Can you imagine the prospects we would get for flipping Trout?!?!
  23. I remember I was driving back to Chicago from Milwaukee listening to WBBM news and in sports they said "The White Sox have traded Esteban Loaiza to the Yankees" but that is all they said. I called back to the radio, "for who?" Then I fantasized that they picked up that pitcher my Dad and I had seen pitch for the Yankees at Sox park one game, Jose Contreras. And then boom. I was very happy.
