For all the nonsense of him being here because he's someone's brother in law and the fact that he has been awful, he does seem to be a likeable guy. I Know that is not a reason to keep him around and I do think he should be dfa sooner rather than later, there is still a part of me that does want him to work out for the Sox.

I was looking up Jaime Navarro, who was so awful especially for the contract he signed and I had totally forgotten that the Sox actually traded him for Cal Aldred and Jose Valentin!! How did they get anything for him let alone 2 guys who actually played well for the Sox especially Jose?

I know he's a free agent coming up. I thought we were looking for someone for the rest of this year but I would only want him if the Reds did not want much in return. That is probably not going to happen since he is starting to hit.

I think Steele Walker is the future there. I hate that the Sox overpaid Jay to use him as a pawn in an awful and stupid game but Jay is probably the best internal option. Would would it take for the Reds to ship over Puig? He is starting to heat up.
