If Eloy is good, I'd have him DH with the same outfield as yesterday. If he isn't, I would actually keep the same outfield but DH Mazara. I would not mess with that outfield at the Coliseum.

I agree. If the Sox lose and Twins win today and the Sox win tomorrow they will be tied in the standings but it will be more like a 1 game lead for the Sox because of the tie breaker.

So teams that had their bad stretches earlier "deserve it". Cmon, the Sox have played so well they can afford a little skid. It would still take a pretty bad meltdown to lose the division. They have the tie breaker.

Sox would only need to go 3-2 if the twins win today and 2 of 3 vs Reds. 4 is the magic number so 1 Twins loss and 3 Sox wins would do it. Sox have the tie breaker.

This is my prediction for the rest of the season. Wednesday: Sox lose vs Indians Twins win vs Tigers (Down .5 everyone panics) Thursday: Sox win vs Indians Twins off (Tie but the Sox have the Tie Breaker) Friday: Sox win vs Cubs Twins win vs Reds Saturday: Sox win vs Cubs Twins lose vs Reds (CLINCH DIVISION TITLE) Sunday: Doesn’t matter

You can make a genuine argument that the 2020 White Sox would be better with Castellanos in RF and McCann behind the plate than Grandal behind the plate and Mazara in RF. But Harper would have made this lineup one of the best in decades

Grandal is better, no doubt. I do think however all things being equal if the Sox invested their money in a RF instead of Grandal, we would be better off with McCann and (insert big money RF) vs Grandal and Mazara. I think going forward you have to commit to Grandal.

Sucks about Burdi. He looked good at first and then fizzled. I’d still rather have him than McRae
