  1. Here is one but this one has 15K followers. Someone hold me
  2. Someone asked for twitter rumors, I’m sorry but even fake insiders are quiet at the moment.
  3. Hey @Y2Jimmy what happened to your optimism have you heard anything?
  4. Hypocrite Lozano and MLBPA have been dead silent. It’s funny because Heyman and Nightengale where the ones called out by MLBPA or Lozano for reporting numbers. The same reporters bring up huge numbers from SD and not a word. So stupid
  5. 280/8 is crazy. 35 mil a year. If that’s the case, I can’t even blame the Sox for losing.
  6. Remember the report that Reinsdorf rather chase the market? Here is his chance.
  7. Let’s see if Lozano or the MLBPA say something about the CBA now. A lot of numbers released today.
  8. Passan/ Gomez: the White Sox have offered 8/250. Chicago beat writers: No it’s way less. Heyman: the Padres have offered 8/250. SD beat writers: actually it’s much more. HOW DO WE READ THIS! What is going on?
  9. Has there ever been a Sunday night this active in MLB free agency? This along with position players reporting and the date that JD Martínez signed being kind of a soft deadline makes me believe this is over by Tuesday.
  10. Im not scared of that Padres offer. I am worried though because it says they have offered more to Harper. So if Philly nabs Harper, does SD then substantially raise their Machado offer? That’s what worries me
  11. Anyone believe the Sox are one of these teams? (If those offers really exist)
  12. I don’t think we should be doom and gloom about the Padres, the Sox still are in this and control their destiny. I also think it’s crazy that some posters keep saying “the Sox won’t be outbid”. What has this Front Office done to inspire that confidence? When have they proven that they will go the extra mile? They haven’t. For those of us citing Yonder and Jay as reasons that the Sox will beat any bid, you can easily go the opposite direction and say they signed them because they knew they wouldn’t be the highest bidder and wanted to tip the scale.
  13. I’ve said it before and I will say it again: the Sox must’ve thought they had this wrapped up a while ago. Leaking stupid 7/175 offers to a bunch of Chicago nobodies, smiles all around at Sox Fest and a bunch of other stuff. Then the Padres came in to ruin the party. Now they are forced to show how serious they really are.
  14. The Sox have to beat the Padres offer. They have to! I don’t believe this is an effort to raise the Sox bid. I believe the Padres are very serious. Even the tone in reports makes the Padres feel like the front runners. It’s disgusting how this thing has unfolded.
  15. This. It’s either White Sox or Padres. If the Sox lose to the Padres it will sting so bad
  16. The Padres jumping in so late, is extremely annoying. Super annoying to see them mentioned with the Sox as a strong possibility.
