Does anyone listen to MLB network radio? I have a guy on Facebook claiming that he heard that Manny and the Sox are currently working on a “co-opt out”.
Also can be just saving face with the fanbase. Instead of appearing cheap, they regain the drivers seat and good graces with fans if they claim Arenado is their real target.
Manny has to be trolling with the Yolmer follow right? Follow a random player from a team who is strongly connected to you in free agency. I feel like you have to pay attention to the White Sox to even know who yolmer is.
The S is bigger and there is a patch or logo on the same side as manny’s. Two points of contention were the size of the s and the side of the patch. This could be nothing but I found it interesting.
Ok. I know this is next level crazy but look at Yonder Alonzo’s last IG post. The Sox hats that he and his son have both appear to have a patch on the side like Manny’s.
There are three more less feasible but possible options. Lozano leaked 7/175 to invite other teams in and the Sox got pissed so he refuted them. The second is the Sox were upset that the 8/250 leaks came out so in an attempt to stick it to Lozano release 7/175 number. The third is the media really doesn’t like the white Sox and want to keep the “Sox are cheap” narrative so they fabricated it.
Does anyone believe that Bruce actually knows the exact offer? He seems like he wants people to think he does. Since I started to pay attention to him, he seems like a hack. Has he proven to be well connected with the Sox in the past?
1. Bruce Levine makes 0 sense. It was great to see Jon Heyman directly respond lol.
2. The statement by Lozano was definitely a shot at an MLB team. The mention of the CBA and explicitly asking that negotiations through the media stop can only be directed at an MLB team.
3. Idk why the Sox would want that ridiculous offer out there but I do know that when the 8/250 offer was brought up, all of Chicago’s reporters including Merkin came out of the wood work to shoot it down.
