  1. Kyle Lewis might have something to say about Robert running away with ROY....
  2. I get it, baseball is not the metric system of sports, but it's a dumb rule.
  3. I hate it. While I don't like having to sit through 4 pitching changes in an inning, I also don't like the idea of telling a coach he can't bring in a guy because the dude on the mound hasn't faced enough batters. Also, I find the "3 batter" minimum to be such an arbitrary number, why not just say a guy has to complete the inning he starts, no pitching changes outside of injury.
  4. Of course it will be legit, everyone is playing under the same rules. Why would there be a need for asterisk? Maybe for single season stats, if some bats .435, it's fair to put an asterisk stating it was only 60 games.
  5. Just places my vote! Crazy to be 50/50 with 65k votes. Someone mentioned seeing Sox gear out and about. I was in Seattle this last week, saw lots of M's gear, but the only other team I saw were 3 Sox hats.
  6. https://baseballdraftreport.com/tag/cameron-simmons/ "Injuries are the worst. OF/RHP Cameron Simmons was poised for a fantastic draft season, but a serious shoulder injury will wipe away his entire junior year. How big a blow is this to the top of this June’s draft? Those who have seen Simmons more than I have were adamant that he was ready to flip his 23 BB/40 K from last season all the way around as a junior. An athlete like Simmons who can run, throw, and hit for power with a cleaned up approach at the plate? That’s a potential first round sleeper. Alas, we’ll either have to wait a year for him to try it all again or see if a team that has really done its homework can draft him in a spot high enough to buy him out of those last two years of collegiate eligibility."

  9. QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 09:53 AM) 50 FV on MLBPIPELINE. Cordell is the last 50 FV, and he is at 18. So I'd guess somewhere between 17 and 19. Pipeline has been updated, they have him at #14
