    That's the package that get's me interested.

     

    Reed didn't do great in his call up this year in 120 ab's, but I watched him a lot last spring, and his power is very impressive. Ball just explodes off his bat when he connects. Still very young, only 23, and he made good contact in the minors with a good batting eye for balls and strikes. Bregman + Reed gives us 2/5 of our infield for the foreseeable future IMO.

    Sox don't NEED to trade Sale. They have him for 3 years in his prime with a ridiculously cheap contract over that time. Any trade for Sale has to be an absolute blockbuster type trade or else it just doesn't make any sense to trade him.

    Fulmer has been in the system for a year now. He has some command issues but the potential is there. Jury is still out, so we'll see.

     

    Hawkins pretty much looks like a bust at this point. Seeing Wacha and Seager drafted after him hurts

     

    Mitchell is the biggest disappointment. Mike Trout going 2 picks later stings so bad.

    I'm not sold on De Leon. Urias is definitely the key, but just him and De Leon isn't enough for me for Sale who's a top 5 pitcher in the game, who's only 27, and has a team friendly contract. That is worth a TON.

    So for any player from any team, that would be pretty easy for me:

     

    1923 Babe Ruth

    1972 Steve Carlton

     

    Best player of all time that fills a need in RF (who cares how bad his defense is with that bat), and one of the best pitchers of the last 50 years in the most dominating season of the last 50 years IMO.

     

     

    For any historical White Sox I'd go with:

     

    1971/1972 Wilbur Wood

    1920 Shoeless Joe Jackson

     

    Wilbur allows that White Sox to legitimately go back to a 4 man rotation - Sale, Q, Rodon, Wood, with spot starts here and there from Johnson, Latos, Danks. Jackson fills the biggest need for the lineup and gives the team a high on base doubles hitter to plug into the 2 through 6 slots in the lineup.

    No chance. Given MLB's pace, might not see Gurriels playing in games until 2017.

     

    One of the talking heads on MLB Network mentioned earlier he could see Yulieski playing in about 5 months or so (basically play the second half of the season) since he's not subject to the international signing guidelines. Lourdes he doesn't see getting signed until after October.
