We will have Cespedes in a few days who is pretty much major league ready so he can take Eatons place in 2020 so no need for Benintendi from Boston. And this madrigal trade crap is ridiculous and almost as bad as the Vaughn stuff I heard over the last few months. How long before we hear Cespedes name in trade discussions on here, lol.

I know he hasn't done great and has had injuries but maybe the new pitching coach can do something with Burdi. A longshot I know but he is a closer that does throw 100.

I thought I read he had the highest OPS from 1964-1974 of any player during that time. Not many players you stop whatever you were doing and watch his at bat ( for me is was Kingman& Canseco) but Allen was one of them for sure.

Maybe this shouldn't be a new topic but what is with all this talk about trading our young players away? I just don't understand the thinking behind it. it hijacks every thread with ridiculous trade ideas. Why does Vaughn's name come up in every trade and why are some posters in such a hurry to get rid of the guy? I heard it all last year and now this year as well. It's not a stretch to think he might end up being our best hitter down the road. Madrigal looks like a 300 plus hitter and all that with a bad shoulder. And I wouldn't trade Kopech until I see him for a full year without or without him being a possible head case. And I even saw Garret Crochet name come up along with Robert. INSANE. I will be sooooo pissed if we trade any of these guys. I don't care who we get in return like Snell or Marquez. And don't even get me started on Lance Lynn. Please!!! You make a good point about trading Madrigal and Vaughn as some of the dumbest shit I heard. Why anyone would want to trade our recent 3rd and 4th round draft picks is mind boggling. Madrigal is the perfect player for out team and his glove will get better. All he did was hit in minors and majors and oh by the way he was playing hurt all year. And Vaughn could be as good as hitter we have on this team and I suspect he will. Crazy idiotic talk for sure.

One thing about Bauer that scares me is he did pitch in the worst hitting division in baseball last year. Terrible hitting teams he faced a lot so his 2020 season could be anomaly. He has good not great stats over his career so I don’t think we should over pay for him. I will take him for sure but at the right price. Just saying
