I agree about Delmonico, but if they are hellbent on keeping Madrigal in the Schaumburg for a week, you really don't have any other better options than Leury unfortunately.

The key will be how many runs can we prevent them from scoring, not how many we can score.

I don't see a correlation

Look at the exhibition games against the cubs. First game they scored 7 runs, 6 of those were in one inning. Second game they scored 5 runs, all those came in the first inning. They didn't score any after that. So far this game they've scored 5, and it's all come in the first inning. That's 3 full games out of 4 against other MLB clubs with pretty much the same players in the lineup. The evidence of the sample size is gaining credibility.

Seems like the Sox have 1 big inning and then kind of shut off the rest of the game. Its happened a few times now.
