  1. Yeah he has, not only has hos awful performance cost the game, it's cost an injury to one of the most important players on the team, and our bullpen suffers.
  2. And now our future superstar is hurt. Baseball hates our team.
  3. Was literally like my first time complaining ever about Moncada. And to be honest I'm one of the few people that ever do b**** on this board. Im usually on the opposite side of the argument. So I'm gonna vent in this game. Get ready b****, cuz it's ride or get run over time. Rodon gonna be at 80 pitches in the 3rd inning. Woww
  4. Way to personally attack me. Appreciate that. I don't care if it is 0-2 and the pitcher is "likely to waste a pitch" as you say, you are up there protecting the zone, not staring at a pitch. If he was ready to hit that ball shouldve been over the fence. No one is b****ing just to b****. I literally just asked you a question and you took offense at it, grow a pair.
  5. You can just feel it..Detroit is gonna blow this open and knock Rodon out of the game.
  6. Rodon about to have 50 pitches in 2 innings. Looks a lot to me like he is getting off the pot, as opposed to the alternative.
  7. Would love it if someone could find a stat of how many 1-2-3 innings our pitchers have had this year and compare it to the rest of the league.
  8. The Sox will lose by their own demise. Right down the middle and Moncada just stares at it. He's overthinking it now.
  9. They need to take advantage of this opportunity. One of the reasons they've been losing is not scoring when they've had chances. Edit: great piece of hitting Jose
  10. Cuz that is working. Didn't they do that with Sale during his last year with us? Then he like led the league in Ks with Boston next year or something.
  11. For me, key for Rodon is to mininize his pitch count early. Good first AB.
  12. It is amazing how much better that lineup looks with Eloy as opposed to Delmonico, Engel or Palka.
  13. I really don't think there is much interest because the team is losing just like every other year, to bad teams, and we were promised they would be better. The Machado debacle didn't help anything. The Sox won their home-opener. The next day, the park was packed again, I think in large part due to great performances by Yoan and Anderson, and the simple fact they won the game. Then they lost and Sunday the park was empty. The fans are done with losing. And I think the FO is trying to take steps to correct itself, like DFA'ing Santana and sending down Palka, etc. I think this year they are going to be more harsh on poor performances from players they can afford to get rid of, and I think they will be more rewarding with those who do well. I am interested to see what the park looks like tonight with Detroit and the promotion, and with it being Friday night. Shitty weather the rest of the weekend so not expecting much there, but tonight I am curious about. If this is true, would not be surprised to see Cease up in June and Robert, if he continues to rake and stay healthy, possibly a September call-up? If anything, dude will be up early next year. I could also see Burdi coming up this year.
  14. Haha true!! I was actually thinking well this like evens us out i guess since we were supposed to lose to the Yankees haha
  15. Its gonna be real embarassing to lose a series to Baltimore.
  16. After this year, Rondon, Engel and Delmonico have no place on this team. Engel will probably still be here as the back up, and Rondon still has some time to show what he's got but i don't like his approach at the plate. Dude seems to be afraid of inside pitches...probably why he got aced last at bat on the outside part of the plate. He stands too far off the plate and jumps at pitches that are barely inside off the plate.
  17. If Rondon gets on, definitely wouldnt mind a squeeze attempt. Edit: Rondon got aced
