  1. Looking at the linescore...how did Cease throw over 100 pitches, allow only 1 walk, but only make it through 4 innings?
  2. Just tuned in. So how do they blow it this time boys? Errors? Walks? Wild pitches? HBP? Combination of all those?
  3. It's like for 3 days the offense looks good but the pitching and defense is crap. Then the pitching and defense are good and then the offense is crap. Or the starters look good and offense is decent and then the pen blows it. One of the (many, many) issues of this team is it is never firing on all cylinders.
  4. Exactly. It's a rollover from last year. Going into the bottom of the 9th up by 2, still felt like the Rays had a 90% chance to win.
  5. I still think my offseason plan was the best. Darn shame it didn't pan out ?
  6. In the middle of what is turning out to be a s%*# show of a season, this is by far the best news we have received this year, for both Liam's literal life and the well-being of the team (obv the former is way more important). I am hoping (although not expecting) the team can use this news as motivation to get their poop in a group and start playing good sound baseball.
  7. I loved the rivalry the teams had in the mid-2000's. I wish both teams were good at the same time more often and played each other a lot more. It has the potential to rival red sox/yanks or cubs/cards if those two things existed. But sadly it's not the case. I think the hate for either team is stupid. I don't root for the Cubs or follow them, but I don't despise them. If the Sox didn't exist and the Cubs still did, let's be honest, we'd all be Cubs fans...
  8. That was the narrative last year. Lots of INDIVIDUAL talent. But that's it. They have no idea how to translate that talent as a winning team on the field. But you know what the real problem is? We never see this team on the field because they are always hurt. ALWAYS. There is no "when they get healthy." It will never happen. As soon as Tim comes back, someone else will get hurt. Probably Robert. Moncada will come back for like 3 weeks, start to get real hot, then pull a hammy and be out for another 3 weeks. Rinse and repeat. Do I want or like to say that? Hell no, but it's reality. This team cannot win without it's core on the field and the core cannot stay on the field. And there is zero depth. Thus the mediocrity. This whole rebuild felt like a pipe dream to begin with and now that has come to reality. This team will not change until it is under new ownership and management. Until then, we will be stuck with the same s%*# year after year.
  9. These comments about sums it up. Not even into May and I'm watching like 3 innings, watch the same bs happening every time, then become dis-interested and go do something else. This organization is lost, and the worst part is they don't even know it.
  10. "Do as I say, not as I do"
  11. Didn't Hermy retire in 2019?
  12. Exactly what I was thinking lol
  13. Please Philadelphia, keep piling it on. If this team isn't going to win anything this year, I want them to be out of contention asap so I don't waste my time watching this sorry excuse for a major league team this year, and I want this front office to eat all of their lies and incompetency through getting just slaughtered and embarassed on the field.
  14. I predict the Sox getting blown away in these series worse than they did against the Giants.
  15. So is the White Sox pitching staff...in the month of April alone.
