Is Saladino the longest current tenured Sox player now?
-
Frazier bases loaded no one out twice, both times he stinks it up. It's like God is giving him opportunities to up that Boston trade value

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 15, 2017 -> 09:09 PM) That was clearly intentional to Abreu I dont think it was.

Q traded to Cubs/Jimenez, Cease ++ to Sox

So my question is, who fills in for the 25th man? fact, the white sox website only shows 23 players on the active roster. Who fills in for Quintana and Willy Garcia? -

Just omg wow. This definitely bitter sweet, more sweet than bitter, but out of losing Sale, Eaton and Q, I would say Q is definitely the hardest to let go for me. Going to be SO weird seeing Q pitch against the Sox, and can you imagine what it must be like for him to pitch against us after being traded just a few weeks prior? And if it is at Sox Park...it's gonna be soo weirddd. -
Dann it! Lol. I'm going to the game on Friday, my last of the season, and the other one I went to Holland started (lost 10-4). Was really hoping for Q to be friday, but I guess I'll have to live with Jimmy Shields. I guess they really are trying to not have Q pitch the 31st or 30th...are they close to making a deal???

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 10, 2017 -> 08:39 AM) Corresponding roster move coming after the All Star break. Who takes his place? Saladino? I don't think Leury has started his rehab assignment yet. Probs Dino. Hoping YoMon as I'm going to the game Friday. Would be awesome to see him play his first game in a Sox uniform. Doubt it will happen though.

Rodon pitching real well...now would be nice to hear "You can cancel the post game show" this inning.

I really like the way Smith receives the baseball behind the plate. Very smooth. And he can hit...maybe surprise catcher of the future? This game is ovahhhh!!! -

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2017 -> 11:07 PM) Him figuring something out would be something we could really use the second half This. I agree 100%. Kind of like Abreu did last year, just kind of figured it out in like August or september. I think Anderson is actually a big key part to this team winning in the future. If Tim can be a .270 hitter and learn how to take walks, steal maybe 15-20 bags a year, and play an average shortstop, that would be a major win for this team. -

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 7, 2017 -> 09:27 PM) What really sucks is Lopez is the only guy in Charlotte really pushing for a spot in the rotation. Coming into the season, I was hoping for two or three guys to be ready by now. I'm all for a rebuild, but it's painful watching the Holland, Shields, Gonzalez, Pelfrey quartet. Once Gonzalez is back, Pelfrey will be gone, and we will be back to a Q, Rodon, Shields, Gonzalez, Holland rotation. If Gonzalez is anything like was was last year, and A and Rodon continue what they are doing (assuming Q doesn't get traded), these games should at least be bearable. Shields will probably give us a few good ones too, but Holland hasn't looked good since May., doubt he will be any better. I'm a side note, I'm going to the first game after the all star break against Seattle. Very much looking forward to watching a Q start, and possibly his final or second to final start. Probably gonna face king Felix. Looking forward to that matchup. -

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jul 7, 2017 -> 08:53 PM) 2019 Rotation (keeping Q) Q Rodon Kopech Lopez Adams/Dunning. Now that is a rotation you can dream on. Dream on that as you watch the next 70 or so games of s***. It's just embarassing...like is this little league? Spot your pitches and do what you are paid millions to do. -

Really sick and tired of all these walks and hitters counts from our pitchers. Holland looks like he is either gonna throw BP or nibble...and these umps don't usually call his corner pitches. -

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2017 -> 02:12 PM) I agree. He's already done a lot more than most ballplayers, assured himself a great pension and likely a spot on a big league club for a few more years. Good for him. He's way better than the hacks who have replaced him the last few seasons. I think everyone was just spoiled with AJ, then we were brought back to earth with Phegley and Co. -

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 5, 2017 -> 04:41 PM) All-Star break will give them a rest After the break, it would be nice to see some more quality starts. It's rare for our starters to go past the 5th inning. -

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 5, 2017 -> 04:20 PM) We are absolutely killing our bullpen... Yeah it's extremely annoying how many foul balls Oakland is hitting. Pelfrey isn't even that bad in the 2nd inning... -
QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 3, 2017 -> 09:49 AM) The A's play at 6pm? weird start time for a west coast team. I'm sure it probably has something to do with the holiday festivities this week. Tomorrow is an afternoon game...back to normal in the 5th.
