  1. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 1, 2017 -> 08:26 PM) We baseball'd right there. Lol
  2. Missing with 5 straight and not even 15 pitches in...not many things agitate me more when a pitcher can't throw strikes.
  3. QUOTE (Blackout Friday @ Apr 30, 2017 -> 03:26 PM) Not able to watch the game, but Avi exited early and is listed as day-to-day. Nothing bad I'm assuming? Detroit announcers said it was groin...sounds like it was connected to that fly ball he caught the other day that he came up awkwardly on.
  4. Well it was a nice little run while it lasted. These games happen. At least they won the series. Can't be mad about being 5-1 vs divisional opponents in 6 games. Gotta dust off the shoes and get ready for a 4 game set vs KC.
  5. QUOTE (harkness @ Apr 30, 2017 -> 03:02 PM) Anderson has looked horrible since his home run. He just has to stop swinging at garbage sliders down and away. Reminds me of Abreu last year...you just know he is gonna swing at that slider outside, even if it starts outside of thr zone. That shows me that Anderson is over thinking up there. See ball hit ball.
  6. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 30, 2017 -> 12:44 PM) 5. If there is a lead, they call it final. If it's tied, they'll suspend until June 2. If they play less than 5 full, it didn't happen. Gotcha, thanks. Any word on delays yet?
  7. How many innings do they need to play in order for the game to be official if someone has a lead? Is it 5?
  8. Probably going to be some delays in this one. Hopefully the rain can either stay away long enough or stay light enough for them to be able to play
  9. Davidson regression is real...we have been spoiled lol. Nice to see a .285 ba and .395 obp from Narvaez though
  10. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 29, 2017 -> 04:32 PM) Avi and MVP both have 3 letters, in case anyone was curious. Nice to think about, but more realistically...player of the month for April perhaps?
  11. THE MELKMAN DELIVERS!!!! Nice way to hit your first bomb.
  12. Oftentimes, in this game things are taken for granted. One of those is Frazier's defense. As inconsistent as he is at the plate, sure is nice to have sure hands at the hot corner.
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 29, 2017 -> 04:18 PM) Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. The only question is whether it's a complete implosion. Closers blow saves. It's a fact of the game. I actually thought in my mind he might blow this one lol.
  14. Wow, they can't hit all day then all of a sudden bam. If Sox end up winning this, thank Jose Abreu.
  15. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 29, 2017 -> 03:11 PM) That is very close. Poor stretch by Abreu True...but don't need him pulling anything after the minor injury the other day. And nice to see them get this right haha
  16. They screwed one up for us now time for them to screw one up for Detroit
  17. That was dumb. It obviously did not touch the bat, the least they couldve done was reverse it to a ball because it obviously did not hit the bat.
  18. That is one nasty storm system hitting the Midwest right now.
  19. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 29, 2017 -> 02:08 PM) That was ball 4 Gotta call it for both sides...hes been decent since the blown first inning call.
  20. This team is playing so well right now, very confident in their ability to play the game how it should be played.
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 28, 2017 -> 10:27 PM) A lockdown bullpen does so much for a team Exactly , which is why Detroit can't win in the playoffs, they fail to put out a good bullpen product
  22. This is really nice to see. The Sox are actually having success against their division...that never happens. Boys are playing like a well oiled machine, everything from pitching to...ahem...dare I say...situational hitting *knock on wood*. Baserunning is still iffy, but, eh, priorities. Catch it pitch it hit it run it. In that order. Let's gooo south side
