  1. I think the biggest hit in that inning was Frazier's double. I feel so bad for the guy. Coming off a nasty flu, seems like all he does is k or popup, then he comes through with a bases loaded full count and effectively seals the deal. That had to do wonders for his mental state up there at the plate. Keep bashing those KC pitchers...wear em out for the rest of the series. Miguel Gonzalez is pitching like the ace of the staff right now. He is one of if not the best pickup by Rick Hahn so far.
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 04:33 PM) Last year, the Royals were struggling some then got well just about every time they faced the White Sox. I suspect that will happen again this season. Look for Hosmer to finally bust loose and maybe Gordon (unless Gordon is finished which is possible). But I expect Hosmer to rake this series and well as Moustakas and Perez. In fact, look for tonight's game to be something like 9-1 KC. Again ... they get well when they play the White Sox. Try 9-1 Chicago lol
  3. Bunting with 2 strikes...risky but what's baseball without some risk taking amirite?
  4. I will always love Saladino, but he is looking more and more replaceable every day...and we have a nice looking replacement Charlotte. Also they better score here.
  5. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 08:50 PM) He probably should start more, but he won't as it's still early in the season. They will stick to the platoon for awhile longer I mean, when a guy's hitting you let him play, especially on a team that can't hit. If he can't hit right-handed pitching then he shouldn't be on the team. He needs to play more against rhp, especially right now while he is seeing the ball well. I'd bet money Davidson hits the ball better against righties than Asche does. IMO, Davidson needs to be playing at least 5 days a week.
  6. Damn...tough luck Frazier. Would've been nice to jump on this guy early.
  7. KC swings the bat like the Sox do lol. Not working counts and some soft outs. I like them 6 pitch innings!!
  8. This game will be won 1-0 in 12 innings... and that one run will be unearned. KC and Sox are the two worst teams in mlb as far as run production is concerned. This could very well be a very boring series. Let's sweep KC!!!
  9. Really wish Frazier would start trying to hit the other way instead of pulling everything. He would be so much more beneficial to the lineup.
  10. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 23, 2017 -> 02:53 PM) Those socks the Sox are wearing are badass I always liked the high-sock look. Always wore my unis that way when I played.
  11. QUOTE (oldsox @ Apr 23, 2017 -> 02:44 PM) In LA they beat you up for that, put you in the hospital. Like, someone wearing a Giants jersey? Yeah, I dont get it. Doesn't make sense if they aren't playing there, unless you just enjoy getting dirty looks. I really don't care if they do wear them, I just don't understand it.
  12. Nice offensive inning there... all 9 men up to the plate. Decent crowd, at least they are getting a show early.
  13. I never understood why people wore cubs uniforms to Sox games. Why?
  14. QUOTE (reiks12 @ Apr 22, 2017 -> 09:22 PM) oh boy did i !@#$ up.. doing mlb beat the streak and picked anderson because of his history against Carrasco. Never again I did that same exact thing lol
  15. I have a feeling we are about to see a 5 or 6 game losing steak...hope I'm wrong but it just has that feel to it.
  16. QUOTE (reiks12 @ Apr 21, 2017 -> 10:15 PM) our bullpen is good Same story every year. Great/good pitching with mediocre hitting and untimely with the inability to knock in runs, as well as lazy defense.
  17. Stfu Asche and sit your salty ass down. So awful. Rebuilding sucks lol
  18. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 21, 2017 -> 08:01 PM) Because righty/lefty match up of course even though they have a combined 2 hits on the year I believe Isn't May still hitless?
  19. I mean, it's pretty obvious he is going to throw something out of the zone. Not sure why they keep chasing, not like this guy is unpredictable.
  20. Lol, you hear Hawks deep sigh as he breathed heavily into the Mic? Lol. Although, that strike didn't make sense as it was in the same location as the previous pitch, but more off the plate. Ya know, the more I watch games, the more the idea of "robot ump" or "laser strike zones" intrigue me.
