  1. Jose having a nice game, offensively and defensively. Seeing the ball well on both sides of the field.
  2. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 19, 2017 -> 07:47 PM) I hope not. Isn't the goal to lose? No, the goal is to let the kids play and see what they can do. Actually, it would very much benefit some of these young guys, like Anderson and Avi, to experience what it is like to win...to give them a sense of pride with their play and a winning attitude. I think that is a hell of a lot more important than getting a couple extra slots higher on the draft.
  3. Bullpen gonna get some work in tonight. Well, I guess this would be the time to do it. Had a break yesterday and an off day tomorrow. Also, are these balls buttered before the game or what? Pick the ball up like a professional, not a 7 year old little leaguer.
  4. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Apr 19, 2017 -> 07:30 PM) Why wouldnt they walk Avi right now.. Asche behind him there.. I think what you saw was the unintentional intentional walk.
  5. There ya go Jose. Let's not waste this opp. C'mon Avi mah boiii
  6. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 09:29 PM) So how long does Avi have to mash until we stop doubting? As soon as he starts regressing the doubts will be back. Guarantee it. No pun intended.
  7. Sox win tomorrow, I believe that will be 3 straight series wins, with the last 2 series being won after losing game 1. Kind of a nice surprise.
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 09:13 PM) Rick is on crutches Oh
  9. How come Coop took the ball instead of Rick?
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 08:57 PM) Yeah, you could argue he was trying to be a "team player," knew quite well how badly he's been struggling, wanted to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING positive. That said, he's paid to drive the ball, and pick up RBI's, and trying to do something way outside of your skill set might be great for symbolic teammate purposes but is usually going to end up counterproductive. I mean, at least he avoided the dp lol. But yeah, I think Avi should now be batting third.
  11. Why couldn't Avi do this in the last 3 years? Would be nice to see Miguel throw a complete game shutout, or just a complete game and give that bp a days rest.
  12. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 08:33 PM) I just turned the game on, but did Abrue actually try a sac bunt? Yeah, then Avi showed him how to hit with runners on.
  13. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 08:18 PM) MLB replay continues to be insane to me. I just never know what the hell they are looking at. Yeah...there is I think a couple hidden angles/views that they have that arent accessible to us. But still...that one was kinda quick.
  14. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 08:17 PM) Holy s***, this may be the most negative thing you've ever said about the Sox or one of it's players. Lmao
  15. Let's just take a moment and soak in the fact that the last two homeruns have been hit by Our juggernauts Yolmer Sanchez and Luery Garcia. Also, Miguel's stuff tonight is ace-caliber. Would be awesome if he could do this like every other start. I think he has averaged like 10 pitches over 4 innings so far, no hits yet. Nice to see. Now get some damn runs!!!
  16. Think Id rather have Arrietta or Bumgarner hitting than May lol
  17. Lmao Melky stomped around like a giant toddler before he caught that ball
  18. Gosh it's a 3 ring circus out there, Sox giving the Yankees their runs
  19. Holland is making the pitches when he needs to...i will give him that.
  20. May has to feel so awful. It's like clock work... either a lazy pop fly to center or a weak ground out to 2nd
