  1. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 10:47 PM) Pathetic offense in Wrigley: two runs in two games? Pretty embarrassing during the heat of the summer in a small ballpark. Our sluggers should be ashamed. I mean, the Cubs starters have had good games, and they have been getting the calls on the corners, but yeah, the offense has been like this I would say 85% of the year. It really is a shame, almost predictable.
  2. Prediction for the 9th-Abreu strike out on a high/inside fastball, Frazier pops it up, Shuck strikes out on a hard slider.
  3. QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 10:19 PM) Guess we are seeing Chapman Yup
  4. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 10:13 PM) Ha, Baez trying to put the Cubs up 2, Anthony pulls the string. And he did
  5. If the Cubs are leading in the 9th or extras, the Sox will see Chapman. Let's not have that happen.
  6. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 10:06 PM) Hawk clearly reading Soxtalk on his iPad between innings, issues a correction. Yeah he corrected himself too quick lol
  7. I'm pretty sure Hawk just said that the homerun by Ranaudo was the first homer by a major league pitcher this year. I think that's false. Bartolo Colon anyone? I'm sure there have been others as well...maybe I heard him wrong idk.
  8. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 09:32 PM) This game is currently a convergence of the least likely things ever. +1
  9. 4 in a row. Keep it going. I really want to believe that this is the real White Sox team we are watching.
  10. If we can consistently get this kind of pitching from Shields and Gonzo, while Sale and Quintana can continue to do their thing, this team has a legitimate shot at making a comeback.
  11. I love the patience. If only the Sox could have offense like this consistently
  12. Ohhhh Saladino should've blasted that 2-0 pitch over that left field wall. Just missed it.
  13. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 26, 2016 -> 09:14 PM) I like Saladino here because I at least think it will be a professional at bat The last few at bats have actually been really good ones.
  14. http://m.whitesox.mlb.com/news/article/191...o-to-face-cubs/ This is a good move by the Sox. Ranaudo deserves this shot.
  15. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 10:22 PM) IMO with Arrietta it is all about his command. When he has it, is is almost unhittable, when he doesn't, he is human, I mean, he really wasn't all that great when he was with Baltimore for a few years. I wonder how it just "clicked" for him when he got to Chicago.
  16. Is it just me, or does Adam Eaton look almost just like Arrieta? Also, Eaton has dropped the ball 3 times tonight that I have seen, like he isn't watching the ball into his glove. Not like the Eaton of RF this season.
  17. Gonzalez has pitches really well over the last month. I like him better than Rodon, honestly.
  18. Hawk talking about Chris Sale. "We all snap as athletes. He is a wonderful man until he puts that jockstrap on and goes to the mound, then he becomes a tiger." L.M.A.O.
  19. Who needs Chris Sale when you have Miguel Gonzales? Hehe
  20. Trade him. I don't care if he is the most valuable pitcher in the league. He's acting like a child, has always acted like a child, always wanting his way and when he can't get it he makes a huge deal about it by doing something drastic like a little kid. Remember that game in Detroit when he complained someone was in centerfield stands with binoculars letting Detroit know what pitches he was throwing. What? That's just one of many incidents. This has been going on even BEFORE he was a proven star. Seriously Sale, think before you act. He should be the leader on this ballclub, and instead he embarasses the team. He has caused so much unwanted drama with this organization, he can go somewhere else, (preferably NL). Trade him, get a haul for him, and be done. I'm sick of this literal BS.
  21. Beautiful peace of hitting by Anderson there. Love it.
