Mike Clevinger under investigation for domestic violence

My thoughts exactly -
If I were a betting man, I would wager that the money collected by the parking lot attendants does not all go to parking lot maintenance lol.

"WE. DON'T. CARE."

Do you think those social media releases have to be approved by Rick, Kenny and Jerry?

Customer service? What's that? Never heard of such a concept.

I'm going to go against the grain here, because why not risk pissing off some folks ? I get there were probably some frustrating moments for Jason, and knowing who is in the Sox FO, nor do I doubt it. And I do understand his desire to "diversify his portfolio" and how it even benefits the Sox in some ways. However, if I were the Sox I'd probably be equally as frustrated. They have to go out and find guys that can do the same job on a part-time basis. There's a reason we get people like Beckham filling in. The broadcasters that have talent have actually full-time broadcasting jobs. IMHO, Jason needs to pick something and stick with that. Also, I think it was unprofessional for Jason to speak to reporters about his frustrations regarding the signing process. Talk about it after you leave/retire. Or not at all. Sox aren't the only ones at fault here... this is a 2 way street.

The White Sox over/under for 2023 wins is 83.5

This is all very valid. The biggest question mark is health. If they can even have an "average" amount of injuries I think your 88 win+ is possible. -

Mired in mediocrity. -
I remember that. I think that was the season where Kopech had tommy john. Season started out so promising and quickly cratered.

Jason Benetti & Steve Stone back - options picked up
Ducksnort replied to South Side Hit Men's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I had a dream last night that prime Hawk was back in the broadcast booth. Then I wake up and hear this news. Now I don't know what to do with my life. On a real note, glad to hear the news. One of the best around. I actually love Steve's commentary. I couldn't care less about what he says on twitter. He does his job better than most in the business. And I really don't even care about the Nationwide jingle. The main request for me would be: get rid of the Sox Math ?? and bring back "What did Chuck Find?" I loved that segment I think they did it right before Covid in 2019. -

Absolutely. Right here. This is where it starts. Until this happens the same old thing will continue to happen again and again and again. -

Can a team release someone while they are under investigation and not pay them the contract that was agreed upon? -

Gag me. We would go from one of the best to one of the worst duos on television. -

Sox continue to find ways to f*** up things that are good. -
Then I guess I'm on the owners side on this one. I truly wonder how representative of the whole that vote of the players was in the CBA regarding this specific topic. Integrating technology will only improve the game after the kinks are worked out. You can still have umps behind the plate to maintain the human component. Just give them an earpiece that relays the robot call and tell them to continue to be animated when calling strikes. And when there is an inevitable hiccup where a strike was obviously a ball or vice versa, they can do crew reviews or managers can challenge.

Would TLR be the 2023 White Sox manager if healthy?
Ducksnort replied to 35thstreetswarm's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I think that if the rumor is true that he will be around for spring training, that's all the evidence one needs imo to come to the conclusion they would have kept him around if fully healthy -
Here's the fluff piece. Lancy Lynn is...still fluffy.

I haven't seen people mention this much, but we still don't have a starting second baseman. I guess unless they plan on running Romy Gonzalez out there. But Leury is not the answer. Leury Garcia needs to be a full-time bench player.
