You know I agree wholeheartedly with this idea.

I've been to two home games this year, one away game in Detroit. Sox won all 3, and the two at home had an absolutely amazing crowd. The first was the Saturday home game against the Yankees which they walked off, the second was tonight. Absolutely incredible atmosphere and if they make the playoffs I will be attending at least one game. Guaranteed Rate Field Personnel really know how to put on a show. Of course, winning also helps.

I think it's a big ass tease but I am roped back in again. Houston will probably kick their ass, but who knows. What I do know is, I'm going to that game on Tuesday. Verlander vs Cease, probably the top 2 pitchers in the running for Cy Young going head-to-head. That is going to be some must-watch baseball. And if memory serves the Sox actually did pretty well against Verlander last time they faced him. I know Abreu usually crushes the guy. So maybe I'll get lucky. I'll be bringing my tigers fan friend with me. He's stoked to see Verlander pitch.

I've been as down in the Sox as anyone over the last few weeks, but if they somehow miraculously make the postseason, I believe they legitimately have a chance at a run. Their rotation is definitely their strength, and teams with deep rotations usually go deep into the postseason. Lynn looking good early on. But then again, Detroit can make any pitching staff look good.

And another injury! Yippie! Who gets hurt tomorrow,? I'm going to bet Eloy hurts himself running to first. Not that I want that to happen of course, but if I were a betting man...
