This team's toast. THE WHITE SOX ARE THE "EASY" TEAM ON OTHER TEAM'S SCHEDULES. Not the other way around.

Just another one of those really likeable dudes that has no business being on a team that's supposed to be contending for a world series. Signing him was a rebuild move.....

This is what happens when you have zero protection in the lineup, and it's also why lineup construction absolutely does matter (I realize these are extenuating circumstances, but the point remains.)

In all fairness, Ricky did need to go. I remember hearing on the radio when they broke the news that he was let go. For me, that marked the end of the rebuild. Then they announced TLR. That was probably the biggest emotional roller coaster I've had during this entire campaign. If this org is great at anything, it's ripping joy right out of your heart.
