  1. Yasmani Grandal and Yoan Moncada are probably the most excited. Seriously though I guess I would be excited just purely due to our hitters will fare better. But I do have some concerns that similar posters on here have mentioned. I think before the major shifting began, the most you had was the middle infield moving in for a double play, the 3rd baseman playing in for a bunt, the whole infield moving in to prevent a runner at 3rd from scoring, and everyone shifting to the right a bit for the lefties. Where is the line drawn for these things?
  2. Iguchi is a south side legend. The ultimate 2-hole hitter of that era.
  3. How much money should I win if I bet $100 that Sheets works get a hit off Price?
  4. Ive never seen so many sub 100 batting averages and sub 200 obps.
  5. The ump blowing the missed strike 3 call on Mookie added 5 pitches to Michael's pitch count...
  6. How is Vaughn not a promising example? Have you not seen what he's been doing with the bat? And idk how you can say he's struggling defensively when he's been playing out of position since he's been on the team...
  7. IMO minor league development is BS. If they have the talent get them up here and let them learn and adjust to the major leagues. Speed up the process They were forced to do it with Vaughn and Crochet. Let the minor leagues be for the less talented players only.
  8. When doesn't Moncada look hurt? Either way, a miracle win. They still have a long ways to go to even be in the conversation of contention, but hopefully this is the start of it. Or it could be wishful thinking. That's probably what it is tbh.
  9. You know how good teams are supposed to beat the bad ones? I think the good teams see the white sox as the bad team and, are in fact, beating them.
  10. I hopped on board the rebuild train back in 2016. It sucked knowing the team was going to lose for at least 3-4 years, but at least there was a purpose for it and a plan. And quite frankly a promise of a future that was going to bring multiple championships. It was fun to follow the rebuild in hopes that those same players that were developing in the minors would bring a dynasty to the southside. It seemed like the beginning to an amazing story that was being written. And I couldn't wait to be apart of the climax. This was supposed to be that climax...that contending window. Well, the more they lose, the more disinterested I will become. I gave many years following the rebuild in hopes of championshipS. I am not going to continue to choose entertainment that doesn't bring me joy...because that's what entertainment is supposed to be. As much as I love the Sox...sorry, I have my own life to live. If they pull off a 2nd half miracle, I'll become interested again. Until then, game day score check it is. I might sound like a bandwagon fan saying this but I don't really care. I've given them enough of my money, time and attention.
  11. I mean, does it really matter? Anything they say will just get blasted from the public so it's not like it really would make anything better...probably worse if anything. What is Hahn gonna say? "Uh, yeah, I suck at free agent signings and our players are glass houses and I didn't want to hire Tony but Jerry blindsided me and now here we are. Oh and he won't give me more money so I can keep sucking at free agent signings."
  12. It's just inevitable. I think if you put the best training staff out there with these players, it wouldn't make a bit of a difference.
  13. Just tuned in. Oh look 0 runs halfway through the game losing 4-0. Who would have thunk it. If I were a betting man, I'd be betting against the Sox every game and I'd be rich.
  14. I just have a feeling this team is about to go on a big losing streak and is going to dig itself into a hole that it can't get out of.
