I think it will be packed once the weather warms up. The team is good. Lots of hungry Sox fans out there have been waiting for this for a LONG time. I don't think they are going to let rising prices affect them going to games. Might just have to take the Red Line and maybe not spend as much on ballpark food/beverage. There are ways to make the games affordable.

I don't like Buck calling baseball games in particular because he is oftentimes way too dry and emotionless during big moments. See Konerko's big grand slam. After he announced grand slam, there was silence from him, and granted they should be for a little while so those watching can hear the crowd, but it just lasts too long.

If they spend on a big bat for RF and DH, you don't need a big bat for 2B. Just get good defense. Honestly if Yolmer still has gold glove D, I wouldn't be mad if the Sox signed him. He had his moments on offense...wasn't completely worthless with the bat.

Give me Anthony Rizzo to split DH and 1B with Abreu and Kyle Schwarber for RF. I don't care about the history with the Cubs. Left handed problems solved. Instantly the best lineup in the league. Give Andrew Vaughn the Jordan Love treatment. Or trade him.

I understand. It just...sucks when you don't have a spot for a man like that. If only he could reliably play right field or even second base. Good problem to have? He could theoretically be the DH but then idk what you do with Vaughn. Dude needs regular ab's.
